We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay here in this traditional Greek hotel. The studio we booked was large, well equipped and well maintained. The whole place was kept very clean. Yes the short shower curtain is just there to stop the very forceful water from shooting everywhere sideways and really the bathroom is more of a wet room, and this is very typical in Greece. It all dried off very quickly and caused no problem. The owners are friendly and helpful but have little English. The hotel sits at the top of the far left of the bay, next to the museum. |Do not make the mistake we made on arrival. We thought we would try to drag our suitcases up the back road way - don’t try it!!! |It was a horrendously steep hill and a very long way round. A passing taxi driver laughed at us two senior ladies struggling. Take a taxi from port or walk the 8 mins to end of the bay and carry cases up the steps. Needless to say we carried them down the steps on leaving. There is a lovely beach at the foot of the steps and the bar to the end served nice smoothies, snacks...
Read moreDuring our holiday to skiathos we decided to visit Alonnisos and have an overnight stay on the island. We booked three rooms in this hotel (two doubles with sea view and a family room with sea view) for a party of seven. All rooms were spotlessly clean and well decorated. The family room was especially spacious and well equipped. All rooms had wonderful views over the town and harbour. The hotel is ideally located with tavernas and the town's restaurants only a short walk away (some steps involved). We were greeted on arrival by the owner who made us very welcome during our stay. We will definitely use this hotel again if we visit Alonnisos...
Read moreLovely friendly hosts Ninna & Nikolas, nothing too much trouble always smiling and welcoming - spotless clean rooms with panoramic views of the harbour located in the centre of the main town a short walk from the ferry. The hotel, like most in the area are up a considerable amount of steps so consideration should be given if mobility is an issue - as I said this is a common feature with the harbour hotels. We went mid May when the island is awakening from its winter hibernation with non of the beaches open for business - no sunbeds or restaurants open out of town - next time we would go a couple...
