Pension Gioula — Hotel in Alonnisos Municipality

Day 2: Indiscreet visit in the room from the owner without a warning making me and my gf uncomfortable as we were half naked and asleep .||Day 3: As I was taking a shower the floor got flooded. Although the response was fast from the staff the owner lectured us, as if we were her 5 year old children because the pipes were clogged.||Day 4: My gf had a skin infection, probably from the sheets so I asked a member of the staff to change them but she was busy so I offered to do it by myself so I can save her time. After 10 minutes the owner was knocking on the door yelling that we were distracting her employees while I was making the bed||||Although the hotel is in a good place the environment is unprofessional and unfriendly which starts from the owner's attitude. English above Abbiamo soggiornato in 2 amici in questo piccolo angolo per solo una notte, ma tutto è stato perfetto! Non ci sono parole per descrivere la gentilezza e l'ospitalità dei proprietari nell'accogliere tutte le nostre richieste necessità, fin da prima del nostro arrivo, quando ci sono stati problemi ad arrivare sull'isola causa mal tempo e traghetti cancellati... e poi di nuovo alla partenza, quando già sulla nave abbiamo scoperto che pur avendo dimenticato un pigiama ed altri oggetti in camera lì avremmo ritrovati già la mattina seguente al porto di Skiathos sul presto, con ampio anticipo per il rientro in aereo del giorno stesso... Anzi, rettifico... ci sono parole per esprimere il nostro soggiorno: Ospitalità Greca autentica, generosa e verace, davvero grazie di tutto!

Everything was great since we arrived. Great hosts, they accomodated all our needs and requests, especially when having issues to get to the island because of the weather conditions and when leaving my friend forgot some stuff in the room while rushing back to Skiathos. Well believe it or not, not even 20 hours later his things were sent to us by speedboat from Alonissos port the very same day we were leaving, and free of charge... I am sure it was quite of a struggle to make that possible! ABSOLUTELY RECCOMEND, NO MATTER IF SOLO TRAVELLING, WITH FRIENDS OR AS A COUPLE... DON'T...

Wir nutzen diese Unterkunft im September 2023 für 12 Übernachtungen. Sie liegt ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Fährhafen entfernt, zu der Restaurantmeile am Hafen und 2 Bäckereien ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Dennoch ist es ruhig.

Parkmöglichkeiten für PKW gibt es am Yachthafen. An der schmalen Straße ist allenfalls für Zweiräder Platz.

Unser Zimmer lag auf der 1. Etage und verfügte über einen kleinen Balkon. Es war sauber, hell und groß. Die Ausstattung mit Minifernseher, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, 2 Tassen sowie AC war auskömmlich. Gläser konnten wir uns ausleihen. Die Unterbringung des Gepäcks war über einen Kleiderständer und Schubladen am Nachttisch bzw. am Frisiertisch möglich.

Bad mit WC und Waschbecken war von einer separaten Nische mit Dusche getrennt. Die Lage der Dusche gegenüber dem Bett hat uns nicht gestört.
