Kritamo Restaurant - Bar — Restaurant in Alonnisos Municipality

We visited this evening looking forward to what we hoped would be a lovely meal. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very kind gentleman who provided us with menus and showed us to our table—his professionalism and friendliness were much appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience quickly took a disappointing turn. As we were being seated, two young waitresses looked both myself and my friend up and down, gave us what can only be described as dirty looks, and then began laughing. This was in response to a simple smile… Despite trying to ignore it, the uncomfortable behaviour continued. For the short time we remained at the table (no more than five minutes), we were stared at and subtly mocked. It was not the kind of atmosphere we expected when higher prices and a 24% service charge is involved. We decided to leave before ordering. This was disappointing, as the menu looked fantastic and the initial service from the gentleman who seated us was commendable. Perhaps some additional training or feedback is needed for the two waitresses in question, as their conduct left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. Five stars for the host—he was excellent. Recently, we were truly disappointed with our visit to Kritamo restaurant. We ordered several dishes, including a chicken dish that came out undercooked, despite my emphasis on the importance of it being well done due to my pregnancy. When I noticed it was undercooked, I called the waiter to return the dish. Without even asking for a reason, he simply looked at the dish, took it away, and said he would replace it, without offering any apologies.

The second dish was brought out by his supervisor, who assured us that the chicken was well cooked because it had been broth-cooked for 12 hours before being fried. However, the second serving was even more undercooked, particularly on the inside. I expressed my discomfort at this point, and they allowed us to order something else.

At the end of our meal, I was disappointed to find that, despite my pregnancy, they brought us a treat with alcohol. Throughout this entire experience, we received no apologies. Additionally, the fava and the Greek sald we ordered were mediocre. Pure...

We came to Kritamo because of the good reviews, but unfortunately it turned out to be a bad decision. First, we had a mediocre salad and fava with an odd-tasting oil. Then came the main dish: chicken. The first chicken we received was raw inside, and when we informed the waiter, there was no apology — he just took the dish and said a new one would come. The second chicken dish also came undercooked, even though the waiter insisted it was ‘100% done.’ Still no apology. Disappointed, we gave up on the chicken and ordered a pizza instead. At the end, we were offered alcohol, even though they knew my partner is pregnant. Also another people had chicken also raw and could not eat the portion. Very disappointing experience.

TLDR; if you order e.g. chicken better check it’s not raw and be careful if you are pregnant with the food, don’t trust the “it’s 100%...
