I have just returned from a weeks stay in lassi with my large family. The studios themselves are extremely clean with fantastic air conditioning. We had a kitchenette with the necessities and a really nice shower room. The pool was the highlight for us; cleaned & lit up every evening, many comfortable sun loungers, parasols and even a cabana. For us the location was great as it was far enough away from the strip to make us feel relaxed in the quiet countryside when really your only a short walk away from all the bars, shops, beaches and restaurants. We did this scenic route with 2 prams multiple times a day. Having oscars next door was ideal. What really made our trip to Emma’s studios so amazing was Magda! She was absolutely brilliant from the moment we got there especially with our daughters. Magda would help us with anything we needed at anytime (arranging day trips, taxis etc) and she was just lovely to be around. I would 100% recommended to families and I would love to return...
Read moreThe room was comfortable and clean, and had some outside seating which was a nice touch. It came equipped with everything you would need for basic cooking, and there’s a shop that sells groceries an easy walk down the road. There’s also a restaurant at the hotel next door if you fancy a night off from cooking. If you’re into (pebbly) beaches, you’re spoilt for choice, there are probably about 8 within a 15 min walk. Magda, who runs it, is exceptionally helpful, going way beyond the call of duty. My only note of caution would be that if you don’t have a vehicle and want to be in-and-out of Argostoli itself, this isn’t a great location – it’s a 6km walk along the coast road or a slightly shorter but steep walk if you cut across the middle. Similarly, I wouldn’t advise planning on walking there with luggage if you’re arriving in Argostoli by bus – it’s a doable distance, but the terrain makes it...
Read moreWe had a lovely few nights at Emma's studio. The setting, the view, the pool and the room were all great, and Tereza (the owner) was lovely, and even offered us a lift to the bus stop on our last day. Also special mention to the cleaner whose name I embarrassingly can't remember now, she was lovely. Really liked the location, easy walk to Argostoli (over a bit of a hill though, lovely views), but in a quiet place with easy access to the lovely beaches on the western side of the peninsula. Top tip - the little cove you can climb down into (1 minute walk from Emma's studio) is brilliant for snorkeling, I even swam with two huge sea turtles. Absolutely magical. A great place, and please ignore the recent malicious reviews, they're part of a smear campaign by some unruly guests who didn't like being asked to be quieter at night. Don't hesitate...
