Marino’s Studios are located in the heart of the village, just up the hill from the beach. There are 11 studios altogether: they are very clean - Mina comes in most days to clean & empty the bins - and have everything you need, including a hairdryer & a freezer compartment that actually works!! Our apartment, no 9, is a good size, with a double bed (very comfortable🤗) and the most amazing wrap-around, very deep, balcony with fabulous views over Lourdas Bay. There is a shop around the corner which sells everything you could need for your stay.||||To stay in this location you do need to be fit & mobile: however, if you need it, there are buses to and from the beach during the day, and, if you are walking, plenty of watering holes along the way🤣. For us, the more local, village location made up for our daily walks, plus the family who own & run the studios live on the ground floor and are the most delightful, helpful people; they couldn’t do enough for us. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Marinos Studios in Lourdata, Kefalonia, for five nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. Run by a warm and welcoming family, their hospitality truly sets this place apart. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always kind and attentive, frequently checking in to make sure everything was okay.

One of the highlights of our stay was the fresh fruit and vegetables they generously shared from their own vineyard. It added a special touch to our mornings and made us feel right at home.

Marinos takes care of his studio like it is his own home... because it basically is. This is a family-run hotel that treats every guest as a guest in their own home, which is especially great with the famous Greek hospitality. Marinos gave us fruit that he grew in the gardens around the hotel, and his daughter personally drove us to the beach on her way out.
