Minas Studios — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

The rooms are spotless, with excellent air conditioning, and the entire property — not just the units — is immaculately maintained and freshly painted. It’s clear this family-run business is cared for year-round.

The location couldn’t be better: walking distance to the best beach and restaurants, and just 10 minutes to the main town. The owner is extremely friendly, helpful, and a genuinely great person to chat with. We booked last minute and could only get a garden-view room, but it turned out to be even better than the photos. We booked this studio through an agency on a relatively short notice and paid the price for it through bad quality accomodation.

Furniture is old and smells of moist and mold. One bed was in terrible condition with broken springs poking our ribs.

The bathroom door could not close, and the owner did not want to try to fix it because it was "complicated" as he said.

Rooms were cleaned every 3 days or so, and not very well.

In addition, nobody was present on the site to greet us when we arrived, and in general the owner was not present almost at all.

I am not recommending this studio to anyone, avoid...

A hidden gem – spotless, welcoming, and perfectly located

Everything here is spotless — not just the rooms, but the entire property, which is clearly cared for all year round. The fresh paint and well-kept surroundings make such a difference.

The location is ideal: a short walk to the island’s best beach and restaurants, and only 10 minutes to the main town. The owner, Minas, is incredibly friendly, helpful, very diligent, and a pleasure to talk to — it truly feels like staying with friends rather than at a hotel.
