Hotel Lesse — Hotel in Kassandra Municipality

We booked this place directly with the owners because our friend recommended it. Talking about the price it was ok, we asked for the total price and if there was any hidden expense, we were advised 80eur a night in September based on HB but when we were about to pay there was actually a tax - 7 eur per night. We were not surprised about the tax, it is obligatory everywhere but we asked before to be provided with the final price and we were not. The rooms were not the same as advertised. On their website it says luxury and the photos really are but it's not what you will get. The rooms are not soundproof, you can hear your neighbors all the time even when they use the bathroom. The terrace is not private at all, we felt like we had roommates good thing is we were all families with small children. When we arrived the rooms were not clean at all, even tho they allowed the entrance. There were red stains on the sheets, the dishes were dirty, the toilet paper was wet and there were warms all around the room and snails too. Anastasia didn't seem to care much.

About the breakfast and dinner, you are actually requested to be scheduled for it, you don't have an option. Either you are going to get up at 8am and finish till 9am for the breakfast or go at 9 and finish till I don't know what time (our schedule was early in the morning which was inconvenient because it's actually 7 am our local time). The dinner was served to us starting from 7pm, so we had to come earlier from the beach to get ready.

The staff in the hotel restaurant was ok, but they pick up everything so fast you are feeling pushed to finish your dinner as fast as you can.

The server of the hot meals is required to serve a little portion,they said it was because of sustainability but their sink in the room is broken so liters of water are wasted as seen from the video attached. So basically if you only eat halal or you are not eating meat at all( fasting)they won't serve you the double portion of lamb or fish you will have to stay in the (long) line to get let's say 50 grams of meat or fish because originally it is served maybe 20 grams ( two or three small pieces of the meat)

The meals are very fresh and delicious I can't say but the portions are limited.

There is no tea or water offered.

I asked the waiter " where can I get water?" She brought me a bottle and then I was asked to pay 2 eur.

Luckily their manager Sotiris is very professional and he speaks english so he understood where the problem was and misunderstanding.

Long story short, 4 star hotel charges for the water for dinner.

One of the receptionists ( not sure what her name was, she worked the shift when we were checking in) , we had the misunderstanding again upon the payment, everything would be so easier and smooth if she let us speak but she didn't even let us speak.

Unfortunately it was not a good choice for us, not what we expected.

It has bright sides, Giorgios- the waiter in the pool bar is a very nice person and other pool bar staff too 👌

The view is amazing from the pool, The food is delicious, restaurant staff is really neat and professional, beach is near if you don't go there with two small children - if you do it might take you...

Hotel Lesse is far away from 4* hotel, very critical when hygiene is concerned. The room is filthy, the bathroom is terrible with lots of mold and there is the terrible smell from the toilet. The room is small for a family, and extra bed is only called bed, as it is an armchair with very thin mattress which is totally uncomfortable. There are lots of dirts from the birds on the stairs. As we stayed in their hotel for 10 days, 5 of them we didn't have opportunity to use swimming pool as there was a problem with bacteria and green water.Even the first 2 days the water was dirty , before they even closed it for the public use. The stories from Mrs.Anastasia in her replies here on the comments of the guests shocked me more than everything. Dear Anastasia you are telling us that you are family hotel, but lady where are your family values and where is your professionalism. You have NEVER OFFERED us the other hotel , and I am asking you to apologize to all three families for saying such a lie. We haven't even met you as you didn't have any respect to talk to us, but you send us some man to ironically talk to us. We didn't have any bad thoughts. After one day we politely ask your staff what is the problem, and we understood the problem completely. But after 3 days we saw that you weren't doing anything , you were confused. You were putting so many chemicals that I was afraid what will happen after that. One night they said to my daughter to get away from the pool as there are vapors from the chemicals. You named all this as normal???When we talked to people who were working around the pool they admitted that they don't know what is going on with the pool. So, you should PAY to professional company to repair your pool, but instead you were trying to solve it by yourself. And that was wrong. After our travel agent come and told you that you have to empty the pool maybe you got the idea and did that, or maybe you figured it out by yourself after 4 days struggling with the pool but strongly wanted to keep the money in your pocket. For your information we had enjoyable holiday as we spent it mostly outside of your hotel, we have been coming to Greece for 19 years, but honestly we have never had such bad "4 star" hotel as yours. We don't have "aims" of our holiday. We only wanted to enjoy and relax, to be on the pool in the noon when we cannot be on the beach and relax, but you probably don't understand the "AIMS" of your guests so you should go and have some education about it. I am deeply dissapointed with your attitude, and I ask you to re-examine yourself as you have very rude answers to your guest. In general it is ok, but there are some issues. Biggest problem is the parking, there is not enough for all cars so they give you option to pay for reserved space but won't give it for free, instead they offer someone to park your car far away but won't bring it back when you need it, they will just tell you where it's parked. Pool water makes your swim suit yellow. Rooms are clean but not in detail, you can find dirt and other people stuff under the bed, we had a dead bug on our terrace floor for 5 days and every day terrace was moped. When I arrived they charged me less for the stay, but tourist fee was not included in voucher price (7 eur per person per day). Then they chased me to pay more, the agreed amount which was ok. Then after 9 days they said they gave me wrong change and that I need to add 60 eur and I couldn't remember after 9 days and all this mess were they correct. You pay 10 eur deposit for tv remote control, like I'm gonna steal it. At 10 pm starts the quiet hours, but the bar plays loud music and kids screaming at the pool by midnight and no one cares. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, also cakes but take the cakes first because best ones quickly disappear. There is nothing to drink at the dinner, no juice no water unless you order and pay, for breakfast you have juice, water, milk. Other guests who came with small baby told me that they asked for baby crib and it was confirmed, but when they arrived they told them they don't have one available and were located at the third floor no elevator. So it is mixed feelings. Would I come again - no. Would I recommend it - yes but with caution.
