The restaurant itself is stunning! We were thrilled to have secured a table on such short notice, and upon entering the beautiful space, we were immediately impressed by the elegant ambiance. While we waited for our server to arrive, we didn’t mind the delay—we were too busy admiring the surroundings, taking photos, and soaking in the atmosphere.
However, the excitement quickly faded once the food began arriving. Our appetizers were served alongside my husband’s main course, leaving him awkwardly eating while the rest of us watched. About ten minutes later, one more main course arrived, but the final two didn’t come for another twelve minutes. When we requested grated cheese for our meals, we had to ask three times before it was finally brought—by that point, it was no longer needed as we had nearly finished eating.
Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t live up to expectations. The pork chop, as described on the menu, was not what one would typically expect—it bore little resemblance to a traditional pork chop in both presentation and taste. Additionally, the noodles with veal cheeks were so heavily infused with garlic that the dish lost all semblance of its original flavor. It felt as though the ingredients had been overwhelmed rather than complemented.
As for the wine, we had ordered a bottle, but not once did a server come by to pour it into our empty glasses. Had someone been attentive, we might have ordered another. The lack of service throughout the evening was disappointing.
We did raise our concerns with a few staff members, including those who seemed to be in charge, but unfortunately, none were particularly apologetic. Rather than taking responsibility, they attempted to deflect blame onto others, which only added to our frustration.
Lastly, while the €3 parking fee is minimal, it would be helpful if this was mentioned at the beginning rather than at the end—some guests may not have the right change and could be left scrambling.
All in all, while the setting is undeniably beautiful, the food and service did not meet expectations. We hope the establishment takes this feedback constructively and works toward delivering an experience that lives up to the promise of...
Read moreAt first glance, the atmosphere and ambiance of the place are unique and quite appealing. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. From the moment we arrived—just after 22:30—we felt unwelcome. Although the kitchen closes at 23:00, the staff made it very clear that our presence was inconvenient. Service was cold and uninterested, with no smiles or sense of hospitality. We were never asked if the food was okay, nor were we offered more water or wine—we had to go out of our way to get basic attention. It felt as though we were being punished for arriving late.
The food itself was underwhelming. The meat was overcooked, burnt at the edges, dry, and tasteless—easily the worst €42 steak we've ever had. The orzo with veal was the only somewhat enjoyable dish, but at €59 and not clearly marked as a portion for four, we ended up ordering too much. There was zero guidance from the staff, which led to a meal that was overpriced and far from worth the cost.
To add to the frustration, serving utensils were worn out and broken—a small but telling sign of overall neglect. The music was excessively loud, with too many speakers making it impossible to have a conversation or communicate easily with staff unless you raised your voice.
And then came the final insult: the parking situation. A dusty, unmanaged lot where you’re asked to pay €3 in cash without any receipt. It felt more like a scam than a service. You're better off parking on the main street—same dust, no charge.
In the end, the place feels like it lacks leadership and attention to detail. What could have been a memorable experience turned into a regrettable one. A promising concept let down by poor execution, indifference, and a sense of being taken advantage of. Sadly, a waste of both time and money. Pitty because only a few smiles could have saved a lot from the...
Read moreGreat Location, Fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere! Everything we ate tasted delicious 😋 Admittedly the portions are small and the prices are high, but you are getting incredible flavours and a magical atmosphere! The smell of the honeysuckle and fresh herbs as you dine in the shade of olive trees is sublime. Some friends took us there at 3pm today and I can say that was one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences of my life. I'm only knocking one star of the review because of the valet parking: I parked myself as we arrived early but was forced to hand my key over... then as we were leaving, I was asked to give a tip for the car to be brought to me from 15 metres away... I could have walked just as easily... maybe it's just something im not used to, but really? it's just a dusty field. If they are going for the rustic, farm food vibe then the "casino" parking valet image doesn't quite fit in 😄. Also, when we asked to change one of the plates that had a chip in it, the waiter said that all the plates are rustic like that. Even if this was the case, a good waiter would have brought another plate. As it happens though, That wasn't true: the plates were rustic and I loved them, but that one particular plate was badly chipped. for the price it cost to eat there, it was not much to ask for another plate... Anyway, even despite the pushy parking valet and the slightly arrogant waiter, I would happily eat there again. Thank you Tsikli for taking us to such a...
