Hotel Petridis is located about 10 mins walking from the beach and Pefkohori centre. Location is good, not too noisy at night but close enough to nightlife. We went for a week, half board. Food in the hotel was basic. Continental breakfast every day (bread, ham, cheese, jam, honey, tea, coffee, juice), boring, so we were eating in our room. Dinner wasn't too bad. You could choose from 2 different dishes (one was vegetarian). People working at the reception were very nice&friendly.||Hotel room was ok, good size, with a balcony and kitchenette, furniture outdated but comfy and clean. Bathroom was unacceptable though. Small, old and smelly, not much hot water in the shower after 7pm. Toilet seat was round while the rest of it was square!and we were told to dispose used toilet paper in the bins!||There is a pool in the hotel, not too big but looks ok, surrounded by nice&green garden, we never actually used it because we spent most of the time on the beach but there were people with kids using it.||There is no entertainment or children facilities in the hotel, so they can get bored. You can buy air condition for 5 euro a day.||In general, hotel is not too bad if you don't expect much and spend most of the time outside and only sleep there. Location is good and Pefkohori is a very nice&lively resort!||I wouldn't recommend this hotel because of poor quality of bathroom amenities. Rest of the room was...
Read morei stayed at the petridis in August 2009 with my sister and two friends, we'd had some problems with thomas cook so we didnt actually choose this hotel as i never book a hotel without checking reviews but had no choice this time! when i finally got a chance to check i was a little nervous as there werent many reviews, no photos and what was said wasnt promising. However the hotel, though basic, was comfortable, the rooms spacious, the self catering elements needs work though, the pool was nice, always cold but when its hot very refreshing! the family who own the place were always friendly as were all the staff. ||Pefkohori is a beautiful resort very unspoilt by tourists and in the summer is very popular with the nationals for their holidays. the beach is sand and shingle mostly but sea is stunningly clear. ||try captains to eat, lovely restaurent run by a lovely family! bars and clubs are scarce for english music but there are some here and there. tonys bar was kool, nice guy and good cocktails. ||a couple nights we went to hanioti but taxis are VERY hard to get so be careful. hanioti is nice for a shop around and a fish bowl cocktail lol||||all in all we had a brilliant holiday and i would return...

That for them was OK ,but we had to keep quite for them.||||The Hotel bar was in the reception area with an outside terrace, the trouble was we were not allowed to sit outside on the terrace after 11pm because we we not allowed to make any noise through talking, or...
