Old Square — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

We visited out of season (mid October) and came away a bit disappointed, having read all the 5 star reviews. There were no other customers at the time of our visit. There was no draught beer. The only choice was bottled Mythos or Sol. I had a bottle of Sol (330ml) and my wife had a cappuccino. The bill came to €9 which we found to be very expensive compared to all the other bars we visited during our week long stay. It's a nice little spot, right next door to Makis restaurant in what is classed as the 'Old Square' - although not a square as such! This is one of those places that captures your heart the moment you step in. We enjoyed the wonderful ambiance of Old Square Bar, which today stands as a monument to times gone by, minimally changed from its original state. Wonderful café! Really cozy and welcoming, the code is really good, I recommend getting the Greek coffee since they also brought us Turkish delights. We also met the owner she was really sweet and pleasant to talk to. It’s also worth to try their traditional desserts, I tried the portokalipita.
