Amazing place, nice ppl, great service. We spent a really nice vacation with our 10m baby, had really good food, enjoyed the playground and the pools. At the same time, it's close enough to the beach, so you get to see the sea. There was enough space in the rooms, the baby crib was nice, and had sheets with unicorns, even a mini pillow for the baby. Rooms are cleaned every day, there are towels to use in the room, another to use for the pool, bathrobe, and slippers. In the lobby, there are board games, cards, chess, backgammon, etc, for visitors to play with, along with books to borrow.
There are two minuses in our opinion: There was a party by the pool in one of the evenings, and it was till 23h, pretty loud even when we asked twice to turn down the music. It was organised by the hotel or bigger group of visitors and was not good. It is not suitable for a family hotel and could have been managed better considering how many children were trying to sleep. Some of the backgammon chips were broken and missing, so we had to use the second one. The same applies with the chess pieces. The cards deck (regular, UNO, etc.) were not complete. Both backgammons had no dices, and for 3 days, no one from the hotel provided any even after asking for. We ended up buying ourselves, which is not a big deal, but the games area should be better managed and taken care of.
We're thinking of visiting again next year, but later in the summer, as the start of June had all the pools being cold (even the private ones in the rooms). Thank you,...
Read moreNice new hotel with views of Mount Olympus. Lots of parking and a very nice pool. But very high price considering the location (15 minutes from the beach - which is not the nicest beach compared to others in Greece) and limited amenities. Have to leave a deposit for pool towels, and pay 9.5 euros to exchange wet/dirty towels for new ones. An decent breakfast is included. Drinks by the pool however are very pricey. The hair dryers in the rooms don't work after 1 minute of use (both rooms we had). Had a cricket in our a/c unit chirping for hours (I solved the problem myself). Paid a combined $500 euro per night for 2 rooms beside each other for our family of 5 (no door joining). For roughly the same nightly rate ($550 euro) at another hotel I enjoyed an all inclusive 2 bedroom villa on the Ionian coast - included breakfast, lunch, dinner, a private beach, virtually all drinks, entertainment etc. Mythic is a nice hotel but very overpriced for what is provided. $500 Euro per night for 2 rooms and no ocean view, no lunch, no dinner and no drinks. And no hairdryer. But the rooms and the...
Read moreI had the chance to spend a night at the Mythic Hotel. Overall, my experience was very good and nothing important to mention. My room was clean with nice bedsheets and also the decoration was nice. From.the welcome at the reception till the next morning it was a very good experience Breakfast is really tasty and includes what a proper Mediterranean breakfast needs. Warm omelets, eggs, cold cuts, a variety of cheese, and fresh fruits. Handmade marmalade, biscuits, and warm croissants. Coffee comes from a proper machine, and it tastes very good. The waitress name Silvia, was very helpful and with a bright smile always at her face. Really friendly was also the lady at the morning shift on the reception. There is a swimming pool which i didn't use to be honest and that gives an upgrade to the hotel because it's not close to the beach. I recommend the hotel for your next trip to Katerini. Thank you all for your professionalism. i hope to...
