camping-Rooms "Meteora Garden" Kastraki — Hotel in Meteora Municipality

I can only write about our experiences in October. First things first, we arrived yesterday (17.10) and the owner told us, that she has to close the camping, because we were her last guests. The owner is really kind and the guys have right, she really gives all the informations what you need. The parking area is huge and beautiful even in fall time and in rainy weather. You have a beautiful view of the Meteora. The parking lot is even, so you can sleep well in a camper van. Yes, the camping is near/close to the road, but we slept without any problems, it wasn’t disturbing at all. The sanitary facilities are relatively clean. I am a really picky person, but I liked it here, and there is also hot water. I think its cleanliness depends on the number of the guests and how they take care of it. There are cats, looot of cats. Don’t leave the doors open, cause they jump in the car immediately. You can wash the dishes, you can cook, wash your clothes (choose a warm weather for it, cuz the clothes have to dry too), We didn’t need electricity. We cooked for ourselves and bought drinks, se we didn’t need the kitchen or the bar. I highly recommend the place, even for families, because there is a playground too, for children and a huge “park” to run around. I definitely would come back here! The rooms are cozy, the air conditioning units are new Gree models with very good performance and silent operation if noise prevents you from sleeping, you'll be fine! In our room at least the was some sort of weird odor coming from the bathroom. Kind of like melting plastic. Other than that everything else was fine! The swimming pool is pretty big and very deep 90% of its surface. The camping and the rooms are just 3 minutes outside Kalambaka city and about 17 minutes from the top of the Meteora...

We highly recommend meteora garden! The location is perfect, under the beautiful rocks of Meteora but also close to the town of Trikala. There are plenty of small excursions that you can do in the area (ask the staff). There is a beautiful restaurant inside the camping with kind and helpful staff and a pool which we loved.
