My hotel's front desk recommended this restaurant. We got in town in the afternoon and thought we'd grab a quick lunch before visiting a monastery. A vivacious lady came to talk to us. Apparently nearly nothing on the regular menu was available except for soups, because "so many people" came. My husband wanted Moussaka and she said the regular one was out, but she had some other Moussaka, "10 euro, so good". I was going to try the local specialties but sorry, no black pig, no beef, no lamb entries, only steak and chicken from a small piece of paper clipped to the menu. The "chicken with pasta" was 28.5 euro, definitely a very high price for such an item, even if just compared to the multiple beef, black pig and lamb dishes from the restaurant's own menu. No matter, that's the only few things available so I order it. After a while, our food came. I could not believe how small the portion was. Literally a small piece of chicken rolled into something like 2 inches long, less than an inch wide? A few strands of pasta, and a swath of some puree. Most appetizer would be bigger. The taste? On the salty and dry side for the chicken. Average at best for the whole thing. When we finished, no one was insight so my husband went in and told them we were ready. They said yes sir but no one moved. After waiting for another bit, we decided to go in to pay instead of wasting our time waiting. This time they said the Mousska was $25. Long and short, they eventually charged us $15 for it. All in all, like some other reviewer said, their prices are 3-4 times higher, while portion is 3-4 times smaller. And like some other reviewer said, they felt robbed and abused. That was our...
Read moreAVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! At best you can take just a drink if you want to enjoy the view which is really nice but you’ll really get scammed if you order food. This restaurant is a joke!! When you first walk in you get impressed by the view and do not focus on the trap you’re getting in!! Monika (who is the restaurant owner or manager i think) starts explaining the menu and today’s specials with soo much enthusiasm that you get excited for the food but you end up really frustrated and disappointed!!! Just read the lowest comments people already reported. I wish i’ve read them before we go in there.
I’ve ordered a special mussaka which costs 25 euros to get 4 pieces of caneloni pasta with not even 100g of mashed beaf and a very light bechamel sauce. Look at the dish pic below: does it look like a mussaka to you ????? Usually i get full very quickly and never finish my dishes, and this was the first time that i finish my dish in less than 3 minutes !!! I was still really hungry for 25€ !!!! Very disappointing… portions are just ridiculous. This is not a high standard restaurant nothing justifies the ridiculous prices. It’s just a low cost restaurant full of scams. You’ll notice that the waitresses do not speak nor take orders as Monika controls everything to make sure the clients are being scammed ;)
We were a group of 5 and none were happy with their dish… we all left disappointed and hungry.
They offer a free shot at the end to make you feel confused and maybe not leaving a bad review…

Read moreWe arrived today, 15.06.2024, in the evening, by pure chance, at this restaurant. We are staying at Chrysorama Rooms, we were on a "sunset tour" for about 4 and a half hours, and we were looking for a tavern close to the accommodation. We found "Meteoron Panorama", -pretty good reviews on google. We had seen it as a location the day before, it was right under the rocks that we can see from the balcony... We said: "let's see". Here, the surprise: the terrace, which you cannot guess from the road, offers you a unique view. The rocks in question, which we could see from the balcony and thought were lit by the municipality, are lit by the restaurant. Everything denotes elegance and good taste, but in a pleasant way, which does not make you feel embarrassed that you are coming from a hike, in a dress, with sneakers and a backpack. Monika appears, an exotic, extraordinarily pleasant presence, who convinces us to take the fried feta with watermelon, slow-cooked lamb and we also took a beetroot salad. I know how to cook, but their dishes are original, some combinations that, clearly, surprise you. The price are reasonable, but obviously a bit bigger than at the tavern, all in a Hollywood atmosphere, with the rocks falling on you. We will definitely come back when we pass through...
