Meteora Gold and Glass — Hotel in Meteora Municipality

We truly enjoyed our stay at Meteora, thanks to Leonidas and Irinas hospitality.

Their room is a gem. It's one of the few King size beds around which gave us a very good night rest. The location is top notch - we love the balcony which opens to view of the rocks. It's also centrally located at the town square. Good food is just minutes walk away.

We also appreciate very much how much effort the couple put into designing their room. There's a lot of thoughtfulness - the windows, the lights, the bathroom, the kitchenette. Did I mention they even make a special 20 min video showcasing the town and the monasteries with all helpful little tips like timing and dress code etc?

Their thoughtfulness makes us feel very relaxed and comfortable. Helps to make Meteora feel like a second honeymoon for us.

Meteora is a beautiful small town with a lot of gems, if you know where to look. We are glad to have "discovered" Meteora Gold and Glass.

The views are nice but the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. The hot water is spotty at best, the beds are definitely on the firm side, the owner never texted me back despite telling me I could ask for anything after check in. There is no onsite parking, only street parking. There is no receptionist, so expect to have to call and wait a while if you don't have an exact time of arrival (who does?). I was given a restaurant recommendation from the owner that turned out to be the worst place I ate at during my month in Greece. Overall wouldn't stay here again. Great location, several minutes drive from many points of interest, the village center and the restaurants. Traditional taverns are located in few minutes drive to the nearby village. The room is newly renovated, clean and beautifully designed. Got a lot of useful information and tips from the owners (Irini and Leonidas). Local cheese pie in the Tricalon and Condili corner bakery is highly recommended - but can be found in any coffee shop. The total experience...
