CHICKEN TIME — Restaurant in Meteora Municipality

We got back from a sunset tour around 9pm and we were beat and couldn't bear to go out for food but our hotel didn't have a restaurant or room service and we were starving. We were advise to order food from town and gyros fit the bill for the night. This place is fast, cheap and delicious! The front desk at our hotel helped us order two gyros and I kid you not, in less than 15 mins the delivery guy was knocking on our door. It cost us less than 2 euros for each gyro delivered. Waitress was so rude as soon as we walked in… I don’t mind it if you have nothing to say or don’t want to chat but don’t be rude when your customer comes in smiling. Food was terrible, worst gyro of my life. You can find better ones all over the world, hope this establishment closes soon for how rude they are. Not very friendly maybe not used to having touristic come to their establishment. I was with a Vietnamese American whose English wasn't proficient and the Greek ladies who cloudn't speak English were being very disrespectful to my friend; rolling their eyes, body language, Greek side comments etc. Hadn't it being I had ordered we would have left.
