Let’s start with the positives…….ideal location on a quiet street and with the potential to be a great place. There was a strong smell of heating fuel emanating throughout this apartment which was quite alarming, and after staying four nights we were glad to get away. Major annoyance was that despite the owner being aware that the washing machine was not working(as per an earlier review) it was still broken when we arrived. Upon enquiring as to what we could do , we were advise to use the laundromat next to the building - we then find out that Meteora does not have a laundromat anywhere!!! Funny as the owner is a local person and he isnt aware of this…….? So day one spent doing a mass of hand washing as we are all travelling round Greece and the whole point of considering this accommodation was because it had a machine. There is a lack of basic cutlery and kitchen knives and no bathroom sink plugs- all these things matter when you a a group travelling and are staying for four days It is a good space which could with a few small tweaks become a great space - forget the plastic lavender and put more attention into the...

The next morning some of us woke up dizzy and decided to leave the apartment. I told the owner but he didn’t answer. Cleaning: The kitchen is opened and the last one should had made a barbecue because menu things were sticky. The curtains were dirty, the toilets seats absolutely yellowed (like many other things). I lost a coin in the sofa and when I introduced my hand in it to look for it well…better not say. Missing services: Lift was out of order, one of the heating machines didn’t work (remember it was January 1) and the rest made a horrible repetitive noise what made very difficult to sleep), washing machine was broken (we specially rented the apartment with washing machine because we were 7 days traveling around Greece and we needed it). Special mention to the beds. I cannot describe how bad that mattresses were, you need to live it. The perfect Greek...

Good: 5 min from the main street with all the restaurants, yet no noise at all in the flat. Huge flat with 3 bedrooms and a comfy living room. All with AC. Excellent kitchen with great stove, oven, and coffee. Alas, no microwave. Free and safe parking on the street. The host was very responsive, nice, and even booked a tour for us.
Bad: Both the bath and shower are terrible in multiple ways. The shower head is horrible, the curtain is short and spilling water everywhere, the hot water only last for 10 min after 30 min heating that cannot run...
