We came for a glass of wine as the place looked nice for the outside. The wine was warm and tasted cooked, like it had been sitting open in the heat for a few days. We politely asked the manager to change it, and he rudely refused, telling us he could add ice to it (red wine) if we wanted but he wouldn’t change it. We told him it was undrinkable but he didn’t seem to care, he seemed more interested in returning to his friends to chat. Read moreWe stopped at the Elysee restaurant and Cafe after seeing it in passing through the town. The host and service were nice, and it's a nice restaurant but the food is okay and a bit expensive. The chicken gyro platter was good but not great. Not much seasoning to the meat at all except for some dried oregano shaken on top. We also ordered the stuffed tomatoes. It was good but it's definitely a bit heavy on the rice. That said, if it were my suggestion, i'd skip this place and grab a gyro from one of the fast food vendors. We had Greek salad, Margherita pizza, dolmades, gyros, soutzoukakia (meatballs), moussaka, and stuffed peppers, with wine and beer. Everything we had was wonderful.
