Arrival :poor reception- she was always on phone and made us wait. No warm greeting - showed no kindness. Hotel lobby depressingly bland in fact the whole ground floor had no soul. No pictures no music no warmth - out dated furnishings- millions of tightly packed dated tables chairs - all empty. ||Room was absolutely tiny - couldn’t put centre ceiling light on as only wire hanging. Tiny tiny telly on wall placed very high. With cables hanging. Beds were ok and appeared clean.|1 wal locket in whole room.|The other wall socket had fridge attached which only worked when u entreated the room with and popped electricity card into.||Bathroom - was tiny u had to pass each other sideways. Couldn’t sit on loo with legs straight. Had to run hot water for 5 min before it came through and was only told this after I asked. ||The balcony was barely there.||Pool area in need of love and attention - no flowers -again packed full of dated furniture- no one using them.||We were booked for 3 nights left after...
Read moreWe went on a trip for 1 week and 5 night and we loved it! Aegina is a very good city with sites, and Hotel Klonos made it better! We came in and a very nice lady at reception greeted us to our room with freindly smiles and showed us our way. The room was comfy with a large TV and a nice outdoor space. Breakfast was lovely, there is a woman who makes the breakfast handmade and always attended to our needs and she is a lovely approchable lady. The pool is still calm even though they share with Hotel klonos Anna. The one thing that let it down was the children who im assuming live in the area, were in the pool creating chaos and talking behind me and my childs back and laughing and I think they should be taught manners! Other than that I would reccomend this hotel to people too as it is also in a very...

In many public spaces (like outside of schools in the EU), smoking is already banned, so I believe hotels should also consider stricter rules to make their spaces more family-friendly and healthier for everyone. That being said, the hotel itself is very nice: friendly staff, tidy places, and a very clean pool. We enjoyed our short stay and felt welcomed. Thank you to the staff and owners! My only suggestion: please consider banning smoking on the property—it would make the experience perfect. Who what to smoke, do it at home! Do not bother others!!! It is...
