Istron Homes — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

Me and my girlfriend only stayed for three days to explore the east of Crete (especially Vai Beach is highly recommended). Our apartment was relatively small, but we'll equipped, just as we wanted it to be. Everything you need for live was available: a kitchen with oven, stovetops, fridge, freezer, cutleries, enough towels in the bathroom, a well working air conditioner and so on. For anything else you need you can ask to the landlord - she is very very friendly and also offered to help us further on our trip - which was really helpful as it turned out.||We were amazed by the incredible view you have from the building and enjoyed it every morning during breakfast on the big balcony. Close to the apartments are also a few beaches which you can easily reach on foot.||The only thing that could be improved is the stove / the kitchen area which might be a bit unwieldy for people who like to cook more elaborate. However, if you're not a passionate cook, that won't be a thing to bother about. Besides, there are apartments with bigger kitchens - so everyone can meet their preferences.||Overall, we can definitely recommend the...

We have book to stay here for 2 nights ( I wished I have stayed more) this was one the best places I’ve ever stayed in my life.

The views for Voulisma beach are insanely beautiful.

8 minutes walk to the beach and only 3 min drive to the main city ( supermarket, restaurants)

Daphne was very attentive with us and recommended great places to visit around the property and great tavernas.

The flat are spacious and super clean, they are also equipped with everything you need, they also clean the flat on daily basis, which was a very pleasant surprise, after a whole day in the beach you arrive and everything is waiting for you spot on! and there is views from the kitchen, the living room and the room. This homes are definitely a hidden gem!

Unfortunately I had big expectations for Istron homes that were completely against of what we found at our arrival. Our room (no.2) was not what I could see in most of the pics posted on Google: very old bathroom and kitchenette, terrible shower. Even the 2 chairs outside in the terrace were different (ours were very uncomfortable). I understand that property may be undergoing some rennovations, but it should be mentioned upfront or at least reflect it in the price. Will let the pics speak. There was also a bit of confusion in finding the place, as they said it is also called Annemona (but this was solved fast, when the owner called us directly by phone).
