Galini Beach — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

I just got here and no doubt I have to leave a postove review right away! It's a small hotel next to the beach, but the CLEANLINESS is on another level!!!! Everything PERFECTLY clean.... A GREAT example how you can elevate your establishment and your guest's experience in a small family owned hotel. I feel so good and relaxed here knowing that everything around me is hygienic and nice and tidy. Very very decent and much more preferable than big supposedly luxury establishments that are actually flighty and superficial. Thank you guys for this peace of mind. I will be able to relax and enjoy!!!!!!!!

Came back to say that Manolis, the owner and the host, a lovely family man, is a warm soul and a good hearted person!!! You will feel his warm and positive energy the minute you get into the hotel. This place and it's lovely owners, made me feel so much better, since I had a bad week behind me... And trust me, I've been to many establishments of all sorts, this one is special.

I know all the places in Plakias because I have worked here and searched for a job as well, so trust me when I say that this is the best place in Plakias to stay at.

I've chosen this hotel on Booking by looking at the pictures and the price, but the real deal is much much better than the pictures. Not to mention that the price is very very acceptable.

We stayed here for 11 nights and were extremely impressed having chosen a sea view studio. No issues with the wi-fi. The family are very helpful and friendly, the standard of cleaning is exemplary, sheets were changed three times during our stay ! The complimentary Raki and wine was also a thoughtful surprise and much appreciated. ||||The location is ideal, on the edge of the main part of the village, opposite the best part of the beach for swimming and close to the bakery, supermarket and the main street and tavernas (but away from the bars). It really was lovely to hear the sound of the sea from our room at night and watch the moonlight on the water, note that the road is not noisy at night. Air cond is fab and no mosquitoes at all. The balcony is a good place to watch the world go by in the morning, if you are lucky you will get the most amazing display from the swifts in the evening. I can only echo the complimentary comments of others. We stayed in late October when Plakias is beginning to close down at the end of the season. The service we received from the family was friendly and kind. Everything was spotlessly clean and towels and bedding changed every two or three days. With the verdant little garden and great location, it was the perfect place to return to after a days exploring or snorkelling. In addition to the freebies (the homemade Raki was great), you also get 15% off at the great “Blu” cafe next door.
