Hotel Livikon — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

The hotel is perfectly placed, giving you spectacular views from your rooms, and being placed close to everything in Plakias, The owners make you feel welcome and nothing is to much trouble, breakfast is excellent. The rooms have everything you could need to make your stay, with electric hob, kettle, and cooking utensils. I have to make a special mention about the cleaner, she comes in everyday and does a superb job, the room was always spotless, I have stayed in 5star hotels and she could teach them something in keeping a room clean including the shower, which also works well with decent pressure. Plakias is a wonderful resort well worth the travelling, you can get a taxi from the airport, but I would recommend hiring a car, as there are plenty of places to see nearby and if you are a beach person you will be spoilt by the choice. The Hotel is five minutes walk from the centre of the town so close enough for spending the evening trying out different restaurants & bars, which you will be spoilt for choice, but far enough not to get any disturbance. This is a really nice place. While the rooms are small (others may be larger) and probably not suitable for a family for a couple they are great. Other reviewers say corner suites are larger. Nice balcony right over the beach. There is no elevator, but my wife who uses a cane hobbled up the stairs gladly. There is a well equipped kitchenette, and a well stocked grocery store 2 doors down.
