Camping Apollonia — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

Bad note because if the owner was impolite, he asked us to change the fridge because he has a safari group arriving with his way to communicate which is with 0 skills even a base of minimum communication he doesn’t get and is not a language barrier because we were able to communicate in greek with him too. We comed late previous day and tried to pay the time between 12 and 14h which was our departure, but the employees was kind with telling us is not necessary ! The complaint here is only about the owner and his way to communicate and how he asks us to use a fridge and next day he was requesting us to take the food to another with an really bad way! Advice : just smile to your customers and all will be good. You re not inviting us freely we are paying so we ask for a minimum of courtoise ! Small, tidy and well maintained campsite, particularly suitable for tents. Perfectly shaded by low and wide trees. It is equipped with many outdoor tables, very useful for those like me who travel by motorbike and cannot bring a lot of equipment with them. The swimming pool is large and very well maintained and is available to guests free of charge. The toilets are not new but I have always found them clean. The campsite It is located in the center of the town about 200 meters from the beach. Just 100 meters away there is a well-stocked supermarket and a little further away many restaurants on the seafront. Close to the beach and village but quiet and peaceful. Very empty right now (July 2025). Many olive trees so shady and suitable for tents, but also space for vans like ours or a few campers that are under 2.10 (or don't mind some olive branches on their roof). The facilities are clean and there's a nice pool with poolbar (no loud noisy music, which is great). There are also some mobile homes for rent now, separate from the camping business, which look well kept from the outside.
