Amalthea Restaurant, Buffet — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

Our first visit so far (09/10/18) but tasteful food with a good choice of mains and desserts. Fixed price buffet style (€8 excluding drinks but even those were affordable) in hotel Allianthos Beach but open to the general public. Very friendly personnel. At least worth the try. We are about to try their breakfast. More info later. Well, since then we went back every night and every breakfast for the rest of our stay. Breakfast (€6) was of the same quality as dinner, with different personnel but again as friendly and helpful as the ones during dinner time. Ended up here following the amazing music, and I'm so glad I did. The band that was playing was absolutely incredible - fun, full of energy, and with great singers that kept everyone engaged and dancing. It truly turned into a night to remember. The staff was so welcoming and kind, which made the whole experience even warmer. We spent 9 days in Alianthos Garden Hotel with the half board package. Everything was organized to please the guests. The waiters were the kindest waiters we have ever seen. Everybody was smiling, welcoming! The verity of food was great: so many meals, so many desserts and fruits. Once they have even brought us a watermelon when we were relaxing next to the pool, it was so nice and valued in the hot weather. We could taste a lot of Greek specialties.
