Olive grove apartments-studios plakias — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

Olive Grove Apartment is located about a few minutes walk from the Plakias beach with several Tavernas. The building is visible from the beach and is surrounded by olive trees. The road leading to the building offers lovely groves of olive trees and 3 cats trying to hide from you. The location is ideal as it is quiet and yet in a few minutes, you are in the centre of Plakias. I walked to the bakery/shops including Spar and walking through the boardwalk. Olive Grove Apartment has friendly staff, they clean the rooms everyday, except Sundays, and they recommended restaurants abd beaches. We loved Damnoni and Souda beaches and we did beach/taverna hopping as we rented a car for the 12 nights that we spent in Crete. Plakias is a great base to explore the south coast and all bays and beaches we visited were amazing, always with crystal clear water and the south coast is not crowded compared to the other side. We just walked in to Tavernas and were always accommodated. We went past 3 gorges and the nearest is only 15...

Positiv war der Ausblick und die Freundlichkeit der Vermieter. Alles andere war heruntergekommen. Betten schlecht. Es gab innerhalb von 9 Tagen nur zweimal warmes Wasser. Internet fiel ebenfalls häufig aus. Ausstattung der "Küchenzeile" war mehr als dürftig. Es reichte gerade mal so um Frühstück zu zubereiten. Putzfrau kam jeden Tag, was auch nervte, weil nicht nötig und längeres Ausschlafen nicht möglich machte. Sie ließ sich auch nicht davon abbringen, jeden Tag zu putzen. Allerdings nur die gleichen Dinge. Nach Regen stand der Balkon 4 Tage unter Wasser, ohne dass das Wasser aufgewischt worden wäre. Wir selbst hatten keine Putzmittel...
