A small, beautiful family run hotel that has everything you need and excellent service. The owners Pavlos & Elena and their staff always greeted you with a warm smile, were very welcoming, polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A top floor Room with TV, aircon, a safe plus comfortable beds, and a daily immaculate clean by Linda. It had the most amazing views from the balcony of the sea, mountains, stunning sunsets and on certain days even sheep grazing in the surrounding countryside which was a lovely surprise. The buffet breakfasts and dinners at the hotel provided lots of choice. Maria freshly prepared the most delicious local dishes, which you could not find in the nearby restaurants. Maria in Reception was onsite to give a helpful hand [two lovely Maria's 😊] The pool is a good size… not too deep so perfect for families with children too. It was a restful haven for me as it was very quiet in early June, and sometimes I had the pool all to myself! The pebbly beach is only a 5 min walk and is manned with a lifeguard. It felt very private, was a bit rugged with unspoilt surroundings and beautiful panoramic views. There are sandy beaches a few metres away and the sea was clear and warm ... you could walk in up to about 200m safely. There is a road nearby, but the traffic goes unnoticed because of the hotel’s calm environment. A bonus to the road is that the buses stop outside the hotel, taking you to Rethymno, Georgioupolis and Chania for only 2.50 – 5 euros. Kavros is a 10min walk along a dusty road with several bars, restaurants, supermarkets, gift shops and tour guides. A little train runs from here every hour to pretty Lake Kournas. There were a few guests staying who returned each year, all very gracious and sometimes joining for drinks at the pool bar with a warm and cheerful welcome from Dragan the barman. Pavlos, the owner even generously invited the guests to a small gathering to celebrate his birthday providing the largest Pizza’s I have ever seen! I wanted tranquility and found it at the Ermioni Hotel, but an added bonus was the friendships made and the laughter we enjoyed! Fondest memories of this holiday in an unspoilt location of natural beauty, …a little sanctuary that I hope to have the pleasure of visiting again 🙏 Efharisto… Pavlos, Elena, Maria, Linda, Maria and Dragan for your hospitality, friendship and kindness. Have a good season! K 🌞

At first, I was not much happy about staying there - everything was really basic, small and limited. Old furniture and equipment... Dark and not really cosy rooms... But during the 6-days stay, I quite got used to the way it works there. It is a family-run hotel, where you can't just expect the same services as in top hotels around. Location is good when you have car - close to the main road and with a lot of parking places. Hotel itself is generaly quiet, but surrounding hotels plays loud music long after midnight, so it's really hard to get some sleep and occational evening smell of sewers does not help neither... 3/5 (average)

Our stay in Ermioni hotel was very pleasant. Rooms are clean, and staff is very friendly. We only had B&B but breakfast was good and there was enough of choice of continental breakfast sweet and savory as well as for the kids. There was always quiet and we could have a lovely holidays and rest plenty. The sea view fork out room was outstanding! We could see the sea and the mountains. Pool is clean and very good size and short distance to the seaside. We can highly recommend this hotel as we was very happy with on our week stay.

Interesting experience . First of all this is not a 3 star hotel. At the best it has 2 stars. I stayed for a week. I’ll break it into sections: Accomodation : We booked a room with private balconies and A/C - we got demibasement rooms with a communal terrace and no A/C We shoudl’ve had TV we only got the cable 🤣 The furniture and the bed look old. The sheets were clean. The bathroom windows had no mosquito net, therefore we got a lot of bugs and flies in the bathroom The toilet itself was leaking water and I had to flush multiple times. The shower it is made by a small cabin with textile curtains, so after every shower the bathroom was full of water. The bathroom ceiling it had a bizzare look, with holes in the paint. The towels were clean, but when I left one on the floor in order to be changed, I found it put up hanging. Other than that cleaning service was done daily. For some unknown reason all the information was written in german, what about people that don’t understand german. Overall for acommodation : 4/10

Dining Facilities : The restaurant and the terrace look clean and tidy The food is canteena like : There is some variety but what is not eaten, is served the next day in another form. I was expecting greek traditional food, but other than some vine leaf rols and a souvlaki the food was common, blend, tasteless.(remember that is considered a 3 star hotel) At dinner you have to pay for drinks which is normal, but you have to pay for still water aswell, which I consider to be ridiculous . The price of drinks was like double or triple compared to a nearby super market, and on top of that you are not allowed to bring drinks from outside in the dining room or terrace even if they don’t serve that kind of drink. Why would someone pay 1€ for a bottle of water when they can buy it with 20 cents. Why would someone pay 3,8€ for a beer that costs 1,2€. I consider it a bit of a theft.

Overall for food 3 out of 10

Outdoor bar and swimming pool

The pool was clean and the water was warm They had sunbeds and umbrellas You cannot bring tour drinks at the bar or near the pool - the same politics as the restaurant and terrace No shower near the pool

Overall 6 out of 10

-Location and view

-Let me be straight , if you don’t have a car you are grounded. There is like 1km to the closest shop The hotel has no acces to the beach even though it is called Ermioni BEACH Hotel( I hope you get my point) If you want to go to the beach you have to leave the hotel courtyard and walk for 6-10 mins. The view is splendid : in the front you can see the mountains and behind there is the sea

Overall 6 out of 10

The personnel is considerate and ok.

I hope i pointed the essentials and this will help future people that want...

||||PS: RECHTSCHREIBFEHLER/ GROß-u. KLEINSCHREIBUNG NICHT BEACHTEN, drauf wurde nicht...
