Superb location (the quiet but well served Livadi), amazing view on the chora from the prospicient beach (you just have to cross the street), warm welcoming by Maria and the staff, always ready to help you and give the right suggestions.||||The studios are spacious and comfortable, silencious, with large beds and excellent mattresses (a detail not to undervaluate in holidays' accomodations).||||Nearby (I mean walking distance) you can find two fine tavernas (Ta Gerani and Cocodrile) and a fine restaurant (Astropelos) plus a couple of bar on the beach where to have breakfast. ||||Re the breakfast, however, it is true that it is not included, but you are allowed to go to the Mouras resort (some minutes walking) and to have a rich and delicious breakfast for only 6 € (and the first time it is free): there the kind Iocasta will take...

Liked · What a perfect apartment in a perfect location. The apartment is on the top floor with an enormous private terrace. Lovely seating area with deckchairs and a table with stunning views. So peaceful with just the bells from the goats behind and the lapping of the sea which is a stones throw away. All spotlessly clean, the apartment has a huge bed with beautiful bedding. A balcony and a window with great new doors and mosquito nets. Adequate kitchen with everything you need should you want to cater in. L'idea di andare ad Astypalaia è stata di Emilia. Non avrei probabilmente scelto quell'isola e confesso che quando siamo arrivati ero abbastanza deluso. Un po' come altri viaggiatori hanno scritto, o si odia o si ama. Beh, a fine vacanza l'amavo, ma ci sono volute un po' di camminate e qualche giorno prima di arrivare ad apprezzare i paesaggi aridi e brulli dell'isola. Indubbiamente nel farmi apprezzare l'isola ha contribuito molto l'opsitalità ricevuta al Mouras. Siamo arrivati con un traghetto alle due di notte e Maria, la proprietaria, come promesso era lì ad aspettarci. Vista la stanchezza e l'ora è risultato un servizio impagabile. Maria è una signora assai simpatica che parla in inglese, qualora non sappiate il greco. Ci ha portati in venti minuti al Mouras Studio, un gruppo di mini appartamenti che si affacciano su un giardinetto e che danno sulla spiaggia di Livadi. Devo dire che alla fine è risultata la soluzione migliore, almeno per il genere di vacanza che volevamo fare. Infatti Livadi è una spiaggia tranquilla, ampia, ma chiusa da una baia, sul cui litorale si affacciano baretti e ristorantini. Il Mouras Studio è proprio davanti la spiaggia (beh, c'è la strada che passa in mezzo). Siamo stati lì ai primi di luglio, ancora non alta stagione, e non c'era un gran passaggio di auto. Gli studios sono dei mini appartamentini, con una grande stanza da letto/soggiorno, bagno e cucinino, ben attrezzate e arredate con gusto. Quello che fa funzionare molto bene la struttura comunque è il personale: Maria e la gentilissima signora che si occupava delle stanze. Disponibili, allegre e dinamiche. Che delusione infatti quando abbiamo chiesto di rimanere qualche giorno in più e ci hanno detto che purtroppo era già tutto prenotato. Per fortuna, perché Maria a quel punto per aiutarci ci ha invitati a passare due notti nel meraviglioso Mouras Resort. Insomma una...
