KARDA BEACH CAMPING & BUNGALOWS — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We are a touring cricket team from the UK. We stayed in 6 bungalows for 5 nights from 3rd to 8th June. It was perfect. The bungalows were a good size. Well shaded. Some of the bungalows had interconnecting doors, so you could book up two and then have 6 beds available, with two bathrooms. Early June is a very quiet time of year to visit, so plenty of space for us to do what we liked. There were a few other visitors, mainly retired couples from Germany, Holland and France in their campers and caravans. Spiros, who is the manager, is a great guy, who will do everything possible to make sure your time spent there is easy and pleasant. On reception you have the gorgeous Amelia and Dimitra, who you must say hello to, when ever you leave or return, to see them smile. It's worth it! At the restaurant, you will be looked after by Nana and Maria, who will serve up, whatever you want, with a smile. They cooked for our whole group, and produced some lovely food. When they found out one of our party had a birthday, they even made a surprise birthday cake, with candles, just for him. We love you Ladies!||The site has a really great pool, which is 2.35m deep at the deep end, superb for diving. The site is also very close to Dassia beach. There is a little path which leads you right onto the beach, with it's bars and shallow water extending out for a long way, which is ideal for younger children. All in all, it is a marvellous place to stay, and we had a wonderful time there looked after by a really lovely bunch of people. Dassia is on the public bus route into Gouvia and Corfu town. Some people said that Dassia is too quiet, but we found it had everything we needed, and was relaxed and not as commercial as Corfu town. Essentially, when you get there, you won't want to...

We went there on oct 3th with our motorhome. They were closing 6th of Oct.||Dirt was everywhere and when we washed our clothes and we took them out of the wasching maschines, almost each of our clothes were ruined. There were sprays everywhere over the shirts and jeans - Like oil sprays! And when we complained about it receptionist told that owner is coming soon. We waited and waited. Nobody came. ||Next day when we wanted to check out the owner was there. He smiled to our family: How many days you havent wash your clothes that you had to take 3 machines? Seriously?? We have kids and we changed our bed linen then. And it is not his business, how many days we havent washed our clothes! He had nothing to say obviously..Only attack us.||We are travelling with two caravans and have been on the road since beginning of Sept 2018. This was the first place where washing machines didnt wash our clothing decently! Everywhere else were everything okay. And what a shame to laugh to our faces, and owner?? ||The other caravan had the same problem. And we saw two women who took out them clothes from the machine and went to the sink to rub the stains. We think they just didnt talk about it, but we werent the only ones!||||We think that somebody has washed her/his clothes before with some liquid that did these oil sprays to our clothes. But react like this? We waited for solution only, nothing else..||If i already write, then i add some photos from that "Gooooood" camping...

Voor mensen die het lekker vinden om onder de olijfbomen te camperen zijn hier op hun plaats, goede plekken en rust. Een goed restaurant bij de camping met aardig personeel. Een zwembad waar je een zonnebad kunt huren en als je vijftig meter door loop sta je aan zee met een boulevard waar verschillende eettentjes zijn te vinden. Sanitair is niet de modernste maar wel erg schoon en alles doet het👍🏼 (zeepdispensers en wc papier) ook aardig personeel bij de receptie. Geen WiFi over de camping (helaas) maar wel een wifi corner bij de receptie. Brood en boodschappen net buiten de camping dus dat is geen probleem. Een aanrader is het smoke restaurant links de camping af en een twee honderd meter lopen. Kortom als je niet hecht aan veel luxe maar mooie omgeving en rust moet je hier zijn.

For people who enjoy camping under the olive trees, there are good places and peace and quiet here. A good restaurant at the campsite with nice staff. A swimming pool where you can rent a sunbath and if you walk fifty meters you are at the sea with a boulevard where you can find various eateries. Sanitary facilities are not the most modern but very clean and everything works👍🏼 (soap dispensers and toilet paper) also nice staff at reception. No WiFi on the campsite (unfortunately) but there is a WiFi corner at the reception. Bread and groceries just outside the campsite, so that's no problem. Highly recommended is the smoke restaurant to the left of the campsite and a two hundred meter walk. In short, if you do not value luxury but beautiful surroundings and tranquility, this is the place for you.

Für Leute, die gerne unter Olivenbäumen campen, gibt es hier gute Plätze und Ruhe. Ein gutes Restaurant auf dem Campingplatz mit nettem Personal. Ein Schwimmbad, wo man ein Sonnenbad mieten kann und wenn man fünfzig Meter läuft, ist man am Meer mit einem Boulevard, wo man verschiedene Esslokale findet. Sanitäranlagen sind nicht die modernsten aber sehr sauber und alles funktioniert👍🏼 (Seifenspender und Toilettenpapier) auch nettes Personal an der Rezeption. Kein WLAN auf dem Campingplatz (leider) aber es gibt eine WLAN-Ecke an der Rezeption. Brot und Lebensmittel direkt vor dem Campingplatz, also ist das kein Problem. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Rauchrestaurant links vom Campingplatz und zweihundert Meter zu Fuß. Kurz gesagt, wenn Sie keinen Wert auf Luxus, sondern auf eine schöne Umgebung und Ruhe legen, sind Sie hier richting.

Για τους ανθρώπους που τους αρέσει η κατασκήνωση κάτω από ελιές, υπάρχουν καλά μέρη και ηρεμία εδώ. Ένα καλό εστιατόριο στο κάμπινγκ με ωραίο προσωπικό. Μια πισίνα όπου μπορείτε να νοικιάσετε μια ηλιοθεραπεία και αν περπατήσετε πενήντα μέτρα βρίσκεστε στη θάλασσα με μια λεωφόρο όπου μπορείτε να βρείτε διάφορα εστιατόρια. Οι εγκαταστάσεις υγιεινής δεν είναι οι πιο σύγχρονες αλλά πολύ καθαρές και όλα λειτουργούν👍🏼 (σαπουνόχαρτα και χαρτί υγείας) επίσης ωραίο προσωπικό στη ρεσεψιόν. Δεν υπάρχει WiFi στο κάμπινγκ (δυστυχώς), αλλά υπάρχει μια γωνιά WiFi στη ρεσεψιόν. Ψωμί και παντοπωλεία ακριβώς μπροστά από το κάμπινγκ, οπότε αυτό δεν είναι πρόβλημα. Συνιστάται ιδιαίτερα το εστιατόριο καπνού στα αριστερά του κάμπινγκ...
