Blue Bay beach bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We visited this place as I had seen good trip advisor reviews, the pita gyros was €3 and they had mythos on draft. Great. Or so we thought. We ordered 4 chicken and 2 pork gyros and the already grumpy waitress didn't bother to check whether we were referring to the €3 offer outside or the €8,50 plate inside the menu. Thankfully, I checked this and we rectified it. We also ordered 2 chicken souvlaki. Approximately 45 mimutes later, the waitress brought 6 gyros plates to the table with a grumpy statement of "we have no pork. We have brought chicken". We were so hungry by that point we ate it, despite a long black hair being found in one. We all finished our gyros and around 15 minutes after that, 1 souvlaki arrived, with the grumpy announcement of "we have no chicken, only pork". Half an hour later, the second souvlaki still hadn't arrived, despite my mother going to ask what the hold up was. It wasn't until myself and my mother pretty much walked into the kitchen and demanded an explanation as to why two souvlaki couldn't be made at the same time did she admit that she had brought one to our table and one to another table (there were no other tables with souvlaki orders...). We asked how long and she said 3 minutes, which was true, but did prompt us to thoroughly check that the meat was cooked. Oh, and no alterations to the bill or even apologies, and the sheer amount of flies was disgusting. Overall, appalling customer service, mediocre food and not somewhere I would recommend for...

Unfortunately this is the lowest note I can give to this place. Be very careful if you want to seat there, and only belive in your dreams, that you can eat here. They give you the worst food ever, not comparing to anything traditional Greek food, they recook the food left and trying to make something like a soup, putting a lot of salt and spices on food to hide the unhealthy and old food. I am sorry to write a lot, but the experience we had there was a trauma. If you don t like your food, be careful, don t try to say anything about it, because they will be aggressive in every possible way, especially the blonde old lady, I think is the wife of the owner, that is the worst person ever seen working in a restaurant. No gratitude, no smile face from the entering, no calm voice, maybe she is the cooker. Extremely bad food, old food, don t go there if you don't want...

5 star review is small for the excellent service & food! The meat, grilled squids, chicken soup, tradicional Greek dish stuffed tomatoes with herbs & rice, Greek salad, home vine... Beyond words! The taste of tradicional home made cook dishes best in class in Dasia! We enjoyed few days both lunch and dinner with a variety of options. Highly recommend! Well done! 20 stars of 5 maximum given
