Paralia Ipsos — Attraction in Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian

A beautifully clean beach that is maintained by the hotel. This is a private beach belonging to Ikos Dassia. It is not open to the public except for tiny areas on either side of the hotel. These areas do not have any facilities. If you are staying at the Ikos Dassia you will love it.

It is the cleanest beach I have ever seen, with truly stunning views. A few pebbles at the shorline but mostly just soft golden sand. No rocks at all. The beach is not bad. If you stay in the area I guess it's ok to check it out. The bad part is the sunbeds where they try to rip you off. Ikos wanted 55 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. Crazy! Also I was reading another review saying 35 euro so I guess it depends lol. Next to ikos there's another beach bar charging 24 euros which is still a rip off considering we got the same set of sunbeds on pretty much all other beaches...

Went down to the local beach to find what looked like a lovely array of sun loungers, only to find that they were for hotel guests only. I asked a member of their staff if we could pay to use them with the response of €150 for two, with myself, my wife, and 3 children, €425 is outrageous.
