Firstly let's start by talking about people's expectations. This is Corfu, it is budget accomodation at a budget price. If you want or expect 4/5 star accomodation then look elsewhere and pay the price. At an average of £25.00 per night for two people in a studio, you get what you pay for. ||Now on to the detail. As you will have by now guessed this accomodation is basic. We stayed in a studio with double bed in the sleeping area, a small kitchen area comprising of sink, multi function oven/grill with electric ring on top and basic cooking utensils. The bathroom is small and more of a wet room with shower base (no curtain) w.c and sink. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. There is a small balcony with amazing views with table and two chairs.||We arrived at the studio to be met by Natasa. She was very welcoming and showed us how to operate the air conditioning. She has a wealth of knowledge concerning the local area and offers great advice on places to eat and things to do. Nothing was too much trouble.||Paleokastritsa is a beautiful place for a relaxing holiday. Plenty of excellent Tavernas of which I would recommend Elia (opposite the studios), Nereids, about 20 minute walk into town and Flavor. ||The studios are situated on the edge of Paleo meaning a 20-30 minute walk to the main beach, however it is a pleasant stroll and not too taxing. If you don't feel like the walk a 10 minute stroll brings you to Acapulco bar which has amazing views, free sun beds and a swimming pool. ||All in all we had no complaints during our 10 night stay. I would not hesitate recommending...
Read moreExcellent value for money studios at the beginning of Palaiokastritsa(30 euros/night in August!).Extremely clean basic self catered accomodation with a nice view from the balcony over the nearby green hills. The owner and staff was very friendly, informative and eager to help us in any way.Supermarket, restaurants and "la Grotta" beach bar are in walking distance but if you are not an enthusiast it's advisable to have a car or bike. The only downsides I can think of is lack of sea view and a bit of noise from the road junction below if you keep the window doors open at night.||Overall we were very satisfied from our 3nights in "Natassa and Spiros" and most definitely stay there again if we visit Corfu in the future!||||ps Don't miss the nearby Lakones(breathtaking view) and Doukades(amazing food at...
Read moreWe had a great time in Paleo at the end of August. We stayed here as we wanted a fuss free holiday where we could relax. Natasa owns the apartment block and is very friendly. she recommended restaurants and her father was also very friendly. The apartments are in a block of ten, set amongst olive trees and has the most gorgeous view. I would ask to be on the first floor (rather than the ground floor) as the views in the evening are gorgeous. The apartments have air conditioning (free of charge) and are cleaned every day. Our flight arrived late at night which was not a problem as Natasa is willing to help as much as she can. It is around a 15 minute walk to the main beach and restaurants, but this was not a problem. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Natasa!...
