Elia Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Horribly rude! When they think you don't understand Greek they swear real bad next to you. If the woman behind the bar (idk, could have been the manager?) cant stand working through the season that much, she should think of changing her profession, and not to express her frustration or anger towards customers.

UPDATED: AFYER THEIR REPLY CLAIMING THAT WE ARRIVED OUT OF THEIR OPERATING HOURS AND "DEMANDED" SERVICE, I WOULD LIKE TO UPDATE MY RVIEW AND CLARIFY THAT WE ARRIVED IN NORMAL OPERATING HOURS, IT WAS OBVIOUS SINCE THE TAVERN WAS QUITE BUSY. In addition to this, we were very polite asking our question, as we were on holiday and just wanting to have nice, pleasant time as usual, which was met by your very rude response which you assumed we could not understand. Best place to have a meal in Paleokastrtritsa. We have been there four days in a row and received professional service. The "seafood spaghetti" and "chicken in roquefort cheese sauce" were PERFECT. I tried "baclava" first time for a dessert and it's my favourite cake since then. The mood in this place makes you want to stay there as long as possible. Bland, tasteless food and rather unfriendly service. The tomatoes in one of the dishes were old and have gone sour, the meat was dry, everything lacked seasoning, the only decent thing served was the French fries. I don’t know why are they acting like they’re running a Michelin star restaurant, the food is disappointing and the interior is whatever. They didn’t even bother to tell us goodbye.
