Great place to visit, amazing beautiful location, the owners have done a great job building a platform out of thin air, on the rocks, overlooking a beautiful, rugged, Ionian scenery. You can use the diving board to dive in, from multiple locations and enjoy a refreshing swim in between the rocks or you can scale up to the rocks and jump from there, which is something that gets the crowd involved as well. Quite a nice atmosphere, music reminds you of Ibiza, would definitely recommend everyone to visit. That being said, the cocktaills are for teenagers, ordered 4 different ones, including the special ones and the signature ones, all of them had barely any alcohol in them and were extreme sweet. Not by nature, as the acidic nature of the lime should balance the sweetness of the sirup, if made properly. So that was a letdown. Service is pretty poor as well, had to reach out to the first waiter to get drinks and then, after trying to order a second round, I had to go to the bar, wait for 10 minutes for the cashier and the 2! waitresses to stop eating, chatting and panicking over another table, to order another round of cocktails. Shame due to the location of the bar, I used to ran a cocktail bar in the heart of Covent Garden, these cocktails that we had today, would be a criminal offence, unfortunately. I'd like to go back though and see if it was a...
Read moreIn response to the reply below, I'm originally greek the only reason I wrote the review in English is to reach a higher level of audience, the reply is very misleading the owner specifically told us to pay only cash with no receipt and had the audacity to send us upstairs to look for an ATM The location of the beach bar is truly beautiful, and the staff were kind and polite. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the owner’s (?) behavior, which was very disappointing. We asked if there were any sunbeds available, and he told us everything was taken. When we asked if he could let us know if something opened up, he suddenly removed a “reserved” sign and said we could sit there but only if we paid €50 in cash, with no receipt, just for the sunbeds not for minimum consumption. We were willing to pay the €50, but only if we could pay by card and get a receipt as one would expect. He refused and insisted on cash only. When we said we didn’t have cash, he told us we could go up to the ATM and withdraw money to bring to him. In the end, we chose to sit at a stand with no minimum consumption. The whole situation was completely inappropriate and left a very bad impression. It’s a shame, because the bar is in a fantastic location and the rest of the staff seemed lovely. Sad to see such exploitation in such a...
Read moreCleanliness : POOR - AVERAGE the stair access is full of paper and cans. very dirty. Main Entrance , same thing. The rocky sector is smelly although this is not the bar’s responsibility. Toilets ok.
environment protection awareness: MEDIUM. They promote the delivery of plastic cups for certain beverages. as a positive aspect unlike many beach bars in Zakynthos , here they deliver paper straw. Good.
Noise pollution: POOR . due to very loud music and excessive acceleration of engines approaching the boat. (Not bar responsability )
Snorkeling Rate: GOOD 8.5 of 10 . Impressive colours , large variety of fishes. Good visibility. Calm and warm waters . Cove Protected against wind. Rocky walls with fauna.
Pretentious bar, oriented towards an adult - young clientele who wants to make themselves known and show off. great variety of drinks made with ok quality liqueurs. snack food that does not stand out for a detailed elaboration. waiters and garzones indirectly pressure you to order more rounds as soon as you finish your first drink. I ordered a Cafe Frappe at the bar that costs €3.50 but the waiter charged me €5. ( 17:00 - 24 Jun 023) I did not receive fiscal receipt.
I wouldn’t recommend for families with...
