Eden Beach Hotel - Agia Marina Chania — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

A decent hotel in Agia Marina with some nice features. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Our room looked even better than the pictures, especially since the bathroom had recently been renovated. The pool is a good size, though be aware that half of it is quite deep. On the downside, you need to pay for sunbeds on the beach. The Wi-Fi is decent but can be a bit slow at times.||The cleaner was very friendly, and our room was cleaned daily, which made the stay even more comfortable. Towels were changed every two days, and three spare rolls of toilet paper were provided at the start of our stay. There are also good local restaurants on either side of the hotel, making it easy to enjoy a variety of meals without going far. Lights in the room weren’t as bright as I’d like, which made it feel a little dim in the evenings. Not expected, but a washing machine and freezer would have been nice to have – they weren’t listed, so not a complaint, just something that would’ve made the stay more convenient.||The bathroom drains were a bit loose, which was slightly annoying. Also, the ice creams at the hotel were a bit expensive compared to what you might expect.||Food options on-site add convenience, with meals served at the hotel and even delivery available directly to your balcony. The pizza tastes decent but could be better, while the hotel’s gyros are quite tasty. One standout feature is the balcony that wraps around the entire apartment, giving you plenty of space to relax outdoors.||Another nice touch is the daily changing of towels on alternate days, keeping things fresh without being wasteful. Myself and 2 friends ( The Quinn Friends ) we were called by the lovely staff in the hotel, booked a 1 bed and 2 bed apartment from 4-11 Sep 2024. We booked directly - the price was SUCH good value for money for what we got. Lovely apartments - very clean and spacious, lots of space for clothes. Gardens surrounding the hotel with lots of citrus trees. Beautiful pool - not used much as the beach was literally next to the pool but we used both. The sea was warm, shallow shelving with a lovely sandy beach. Surrounded by mountains too. you could get a sunbed so long as you bought a drink. Other bars near the hotel too if you prefer but the hotel pool bar was great too. The staff are SO helpful - they booked reliable taxi transfers both ways to the airport, they even located my phone that I had stupidly left on the plane on the way out. They got it delivered to the hotel! Nice restaurants nearby or a short and cheap bus journey from outside the hotel to Chania which is a lovely town. Special shout out to Mikales & Sofrones ( sorry about the spelling ) who were so helpful. We hired a car for the day ( again sorted by hotel ) and went on a boat trip too. The weather was hot but as you are by the sea it is fine. For a small amount of money we were able to get an apartment to use for our last day as our check out was late. Don't hesitate to book this...
