Mithos Premium Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Everything was perfect! We booked this accommodation because it looked very well in the photos and it had only very positive reviews, but were a bit sceptic as no one had anything “bad”/negative to say in the reviews. Well, I can say, 5 minutes after we arrived, I was already on the verge of giving 10 stars! :) We were very warm welcomed by the owner at 11 AM, the room was already ready (after the 15th of September, not sure if it’s always the same). The room has everything we needed, is spacious, clean, everything seemed brand new. Cleaning was done daily and we received new towels every second day. There is a small garden and a pool, we enjoyed the garden a lot in the evening as it is so quiet. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes, maximum 10 minutes, and there is a shortcut through the hotel next-by that we used everyday (but keep in mind it has about 30-35 stairs). Otherwise you can walk on the street and it will add maybe 3 minutes...

A cozy hotel with a sweet hostess who is happy to go the extra mile for good service. We spoke to Christina many times. A really nice person. The cleaning lady was also really sweet and did an excellent job. It was always clean and tidy.

The pool has shade for part of the day. It was really nice when we went in September, because it was scorching hot (34 degrees every day and a major wildfire one of the days). So we enjoyed a dip in the shade.

When we checked out, we had almost 10 hours without a place to stay before leaving. But we were told that we could just lock our luggage in a designated room and freely use the toilet and shower in the basement.

Excellent facility! Parking on the spot, easy to reach location, close to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach (5 minutes walk). VERY clean! Large rooms with generous balconies, lots of amenities: coffee maker, water heater, fridge, complementary fruits and water; very helpful and polite staff (Thank you Christina :) ) and the owner is really amazing!
