Our family stayed at Matala Bay for 12 nights (from June 20th, 2025), and we had a great time there.||From day one until our departure, we felt genuinely welcomed thanks to the cozy atmosphere and, above all, the exceptional and friendly staff. They greeted every guest with authentic smiles at breakfast and dinner, and even remembered our drink preferences and room numbers, eliminating the need to repeat these details each time.||I'd like to highlight what our family particularly appreciated:||- The approx. 10x5-meter pool featuring a shallow section that allows even young children to enter safely;|- There's a swing outside the hotel that provides entertainment for kids;|- The shaded pool bar that serves excellent food at competitive prices;|- The beach is just a 5-minute walk away.||The hotel maintains a peaceful, quiet environment while remaining genuinely family-friendly. The variety and quality of breakfast and dinner were impressive—despite our extended 12-night stay, dinner offered a generous selection of salads and main courses with minimal repetition, while breakfast featured an amazing array of options each morning.||The hotel's size is perfect: Matala Bay is a compact, 4-story property where you don't need to embark on a lengthy journey to reach the restaurant, pool, or lobby bar. Everything is just steps away.||While some guests have complained about room conditions and cleanliness, it's important to remember this is a 3-star hotel. Minor imperfections and signs of wear are to be expected, but everything was hygienically clean and fully functional.
