If HBO is ever scouting for the Greek spin-off of The White Lotus, they should come straight to Lofos Village. The only catch? There’s no drama - just Elizabeth making sure everyone is happy, fed, and watered.
But seriously, what an amazing host. She’s part hotelier, part bartender, part chef, part life coach… basically the full hospitality kit assembled into one person.
Owner Stavros keeps his personal masterpiece place spotless. The pride shows in every corner—think less “crime scene” and more “immaculate Instagram backdrop.”
The setting is perfection: overlooking Chora, just a short stumble to the party— but just removed enough that when you return, serenity reigns.
Do yourself a favour and order the newly christened “White Lofos” cocktail by the pool — tequila, pink grapefruit, delicious! It's the kind of decision you’ll only regret if you don’t have another.
Rooms come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you’re a romantic couple, a solo adventurer, or like us - a mixed crew of Norwegians and Australians, there’s something that fits.
There's no unpleasant surprises or shady subplots here, just genuine hospitality, a killer view, and the gorgeous Elizabeth to look after you... The White Lofos gets 5 stars.
Thanks team Lofos for looking after us so well. See...
Read moreWe cannot recommend this hotel enough. We stayed here for 10 nights in the premier double room. We were collected from the port and welcomed into warm arms. The service from start to end was 10/10. ||The bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept on... it's made coming home very uncomfortable. The rooms are modern and clean, you can even select mood lighting. Each day multiple bottles of water were complimentary added to our fridge which was a nice touch. ||The hotel was around 3 minute walk into the main area of Chora. However I do have to mention that the hill to walk back up to the hotel is very steep, if you have mobility issues this hotel isn't for you. ||The pool area is small but quiet, often we were the only people around the pool. We did ask if the hotel was full and got told it was, others often are exploring during the day. ||You can order food and drinks throughout the day. The only thing I would say is that there was no drinks menu so you couldn't check the prices. An aperol spritz was 14e, which is on the expensive side in Ios. ||All in all, it was a memorable stay and we have already recommended for people visiting...
Read moreElizabeth at Lofos Village felt like a personal friend who wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip. The hotel room itself was amazing, seriously the pictures dont even do it justice the premium rooms have an amazing view and sunset view with balcony. The pool as well is so nice and in the center of the hotel. Elizabeth had great recommendations for food. Theres a restaurant right below the hotel which is a fabulous family owned authentic and well priced resturant. (Lamb was to die for) and a walking alleyway that leads straight into the town from the hotel itself. AC was the strongest in any hotel we stayed at in greece and we were given water upon arrival & the black out shades really help with sleep. We LOVED this hotel. Location was perfection to go out into town via walking and minutes from the bus stop to Mylopotus beach or the other way back towards the port. A bakery right below as well to the main street. Just central location we want to come back ASAP and stay here as well and visit ios again we felt so safe , comfortable, and enjoyed our stay soo much!! We just got engaged and then came here and...
