This is a hard one, because the earnest effort of the good crew, the ambiance and the excellent cocktails are deserving of more, but the food and execution were askew on the day we visited. First the good stuff, solid block ice on the cocktails tells you everything will be fine and indeed it was. Ambiance was mellow and airy. Menu was ambitious and raised great expectations, and then.. greek pizza happened. I love this stuff because 80ies childhood but really as another commenter rightly says, it isn't right. Then most dishes were a hot mess, mixing good and naught liberally eg beloved vitello, where great beef was strangled in its cot by hordes of acid by big chuncks of sushi ginger, pickled carrots and onions, and left unprotected by tiny dabs of what should be a luxurious tonnato. So, go for a cocktail and nibbles and wait for the chef & maitre to bang their heads together...
Read moreThe atmosphere was classic white, minimal, and nice… but the food and service were quite disappointing.
Reviews online looked great, but upon arriving, we stood there awkwardly for way too long to be seated while all staff met eye contact and proceeded to provide service to other guests chaotically.
After sitting, we waiting for maybe 10 minutes for a menu, and another 20 MINUTES for our drinks, which were weak and small… considering the 13-15 euro price for one cocktail
Starter was meatballs, which came out very cold. Entrees took an insane amount of time to come out, and were COLD!
Pasta sauce was watery and flavorless, and the ravioli had hardly any filling and the portions were oddly small.
We asked to pay our bill 5 times, but the staff kept forgetting and it was just chaos.
Just an honest review, maybe best to save your money and your time unless you just...
Read moreThought we would come into the city centre and try a restaurant as we were staying at mylopotas beach. Drinks menu is great but pricey. I liked that they had gin cocktails on the menu. Tried the baked cheese as an entree, nice but the honey is suuper sweet. Had to even it out with some salt. Mains was the chicken and I ordered a margherita that was absolutely disgusting. I had to send it back, and I never do that. My mistake ordering pizza in greece, because they have no idea what they are doing. The base tasted like actual tomato ketchup, it was smothered in cheese with a few cherry tomatoes on top. No basil in sight. Tasted absolutely rank. They were really nice about it and gave us complimentary shots etc. To call that pizza a margherita is offensive. Do not...
