If your idea of a perfect Greek holiday is lazing along the shores of the Aegean Sea, strolling through a picturesque village with a gelato in your hand and enjoying the unique boutiques lining the white cobblestoned streets, Ios has it all.

And what a better way to enjoy it than in your very own Cycladic luxury villa, nestled atop a cliff with stunning views of the ocean that surrounds it. Our family has spent two consecutive summers in this idyllic villa and enjoyed both luxury and privacy in equal measures. From beginning to end, it was an incredible experience. We had an excellent service booking our stay directly with Kimberley and nothing was too much trouble for her.

After a long trans-Atlantic journey, we were greeted by Kimberley and Yanni at the port of Ios and whisked to the villa, where luxury comes to meet you. The initial view is breathtaking, as the island’s rolling hills and the turquoise ocean surround you. The property exudes a peaceful spirit with warm wood and cool limestone interiors, dotted with unique pieces from Kimberley and Yanni’s global travel. The villa has five bedrooms with its own on-suite bathroom, fully equipped modern kitchen and dining room, and a relaxing family room that overlooks the ocean. It boasts an amazing spacious outdoor area with a dramatic infinity-edge pool surrounded by sun loungers, an outdoor dining area with a full kitchen and wood burning oven, and beautifully maintained gardens. Every morning you wake up to a gourmet breakfast that includes a variety of fresh juices, fruit and freshly picked grapes from Kimberley’s garden, French toast with maple syrup, waffles, classic Greek yoghurt that tastes like heaven in your mouth, and Ios honey that is best to none.

Kimberley also assisted us with organizing our activities while vacationing on the island, including a motor boat rental to explore the island’s best beaches, castaway picnics, kayaking along the waterway and stand up paddle boarding in the bay. The kids enjoyed cliff jumping and relaxing in a private infinity pool overlooking the bay. Perhaps the best part for me was to relax with a good book and coffee on a tranquil hideaway beach on the property just steps away from the house. The property offers a multitude of other lounging areas, including a large hammock between two palm trees that sways in the gentle breeze.

The island offers award-winning dining and nightlife for all ages. We had several favorites, such as La Buca, Salt Restaurant and Bar, and Katogi to mention just a few.

The attention to detail in every space and the personal touch delivered throughout our stay was beyond expectation. From the captivating décor and intriguing design of the villa, to the infinity pool overlooking the sparkling blue Aegean Sea and outstanding food, there is nothing that has been missed. To say that it’s 5 stars or exceptional isn’t enough. Kimberley, as host, is incredible in every way. From the beginning of the booking process and all the way through - the build up to staying - the most warm welcome - and amazing support with anything that is needed - throughout.

Her amazing team keep the villa spotless and the breakfasts are mouth-wateringly delicious, every single day. To say this is a slice of paradise is an understatement - it’s the most amazing place, with the kindest people and the most lovely atmosphere, everything you could ever need and more amazing than you could ever imagine. The pool is incredible… the whole villa is - it’s stunning.

We hosted our wedding here and it was more than we could have ever dreamt of… it will live in our hearts forever, because of the event - of course - but also because of Cycladic Gem (and Kimberley and all of her team) in all its beauty.

We live in USA and had waited a whole year to see this magical place as our wedding destination and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we arrived at Cycladic Gem, we knew we had found somewhere truly special. Kimberley and Yanni are more than just exceptional hosts—they are warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring people who made our wedding and family stay an unforgettable experience.

Their kindness and attention to every detail meant the world to us. Each morning began with a delicious, lovingly prepared breakfast, and the villa was always pristine, filled with a sense of peace and beauty. They went above and beyond to help us with recommendations for restaurants and hidden gems to explore, making us feel completely at home on the island.

The villa itself is breathtaking—elegantly designed with panoramic views that took our breath away day after day. It was the perfect setting for our wedding, which truly felt like a dream. Everything was seamless, intimate, and filled with love, thanks in large part to Kimberley and Yanni’s care and support.

We are so deeply grateful for everything they did for us and our family during such a special time in our lives. We left with full hearts and memories we will cherish forever. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful place and see our dear hosts again.
