Hyperion Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Kalymnos

Lovely hotel which is either new or newly refurbished over looking the ocean and the island of Telendos.|Very spacious and nicely furnished reception area and friendly staff at check in.|Our room was lovely large comfortable double bed and a single bed in there, good quality bedding and pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge in the room. Plus a safe for valuables. |Nice bathroom. |Our view from the balcony was obscured by the solar panels on the moped hire shop directly in front of us, disappointing it would have been lovely to watch the sunset from here but we got round this by going up to the roof top bar and got a clear view from there.|The pool and roof top bar was fabulous great sun loungers pool towels provided, extremely hot up there. Large area to have food and drinks either in the day or evening which is open to everyone.|Breakfast was included there is room for improvement with this. |Located very close to shops and restaurants if you go to the right out the hotel, go left to the jetty to get a service boat over to Telendos it costs 3 euros per person and takes about 10 minutes the boats run every 30 minutes.|The owner is a lovely lady who is trying her hardest to make a success of this business, if ever I was back in Kalymnos I would stay there...

This is a really nice hotel set pretty much on "the border" between Myrties and Massouri.

The rooms aren't huge, but they're modern, clean and mostly have great views over to Telendos. I didn't use the pool, but, though it's quite small I'm sure it's great for cooling down in.

All the staff are great. Breakfast is OK, but no more than that.

The only reason why I've given it a 3 star review rather than 4 stars is that they held a party on the bar top terrace on the Saturday night, which carried on with pretty loud music well beyond the official noise curfew time of 11pm. If that's your kind of thing, you'll see that as a plus, but I thought it was inconsiderate to the paying hotel guests, so am unlikely to be returning.

Just perfect. This hotel is family run and it shows. Rooms are spotlessly clean, fridge and safe in room. Rooms are good size with balcony overlooking telendos. Pool area compact but great vibe. Roof top bar was wonderful to watch the sunset from and cocktails are well made with fresh ingredients. We were family of four with two teens who loved this hotel. Location and friendliness made it. Supermarket 20 metres away, bars and restaurants too. Would definitely come back again one day....
