Avra Aigaiou — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalymnos

What a hidden gem! During our time in Kalymnos, we must have walked past this place countless times without realizing what we were missing. After a friend recommended it, we decided to give it a try—and we were so glad we did!

The staff was incredibly friendly, the setting in the back was beautiful and cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. To top it off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert that was simply amazing.

We have travelled to Kalymnos each year during the last 12 and it is very important to us find a place with a real healthy food, home made plates and make at the moment to choose small changes.

People at Avra is wonderful, polite and very professional.

In all their main plates you can choose between broccoli, oven potatoes, salad, rice, fried potatoes....it is perfect is you care your diet as us.

Finally, the relation between price and quality is the best in Masouri.

Located on the main street, food was average and service slow, waited a long time for food and wasn't really busy then once had the bill I had added a larger note into sleeve to tip them with change but took so long to come back I changed note for 1€ tip and left.. no photos as wasn't impressed..
