Read moreWe spent a week (11-18 October) at Lambi Resort. It was our first holiday as a family of 3, we came with our 6-month-old son. We enjoyed our stay, here's what we think about the hotel: location: pretty far away from the centre of Kos town, but it's within a 40-50 minutes walk. Alternatively, you can take a bus for about 1,2€ (one way), the bus stop is on the main road next to the hotel. There's a shop and a tavern nearby, as well as a small on-site shop next to the reception. beach: it's very close to the sea, but the beach is very narrow, windy and has no facilities. A nicer beach is a 15 minutes walk away. room: we had a room with a nice view (some fields and the sea in a distance). It was located on ground floor, so it was relatively easy to go in and out with a pram (although there are small stairs with two steps). We requested to have a baby cot in our room and it was provided. In the room, there was a mini fridge and electric kettle with two cups. There was not much of storage space. The bed was rather comfy, with a lot of pillows. food: the food was ok, but not as good as I would expect from a ** hotel. For breakfast, they served a few types of bread / bread rolls, 4 types of pastries, 1 or 2 types of ham, 1 type of cheese, some jams, honey, butter and chocolate cream, some vegetables to prepare a salad, sausages, beans, 3 types of eggs (fried, scrambled, boiled), baked tomatoes, champignons, sometimes also baked potatoes, bacon. There were also 4 types of cereal, hot and cold milk, fresh and dried fruits. The coffee was quite bitter. For lunch and dinner, there were 3-4 types of meat (mostly chicken and pork), 1 type of fish, some boiled and fried vegetables, french fries, baked potatoes, salads, pasta with sauce. From time to time there were themed dinners (Mexican, Greek, Italian) and then the food was a bit more interesting. As for the drinks, there were 3 types of wine available (white, red, rose), as well as 3 types of juices (pineapple, apple, orange) and a few kinds of sodas. During the meals, we were always accompanied by a few cats - they live next to the stairs leading to the restaurant. They wait to be given some food, but they're not bothersome at all. staff: everyone was very nice and helpful! Both to us and to our baby boy. :) pool: the hotel is divided in two sections, each of them has a big pool. Additionally there's one small pool for kids. There's plenty of sun loungers, swing loungers and hammocks, in October most of them are not occupied (I'd say the water in the pools is too cold for swimming, but there were some people who didn't seem to be bothered by that). WiFi: it works well throughout the whole area of the hotel,...
