The Best Hotel Resort in Greece! Highly recommend!

This hotel is truly awesome, worthy of all its good reviews. It is a 5 star hotel at its best. In fact, if it was possible to give it 7 stars on this forum I would. It is the perfect location for the best holiday ever.

I stayed here for 5 nights last week and could not have had a more restful and special time. Check in was simple and effortless, a warm welcome followed by a soothing drink and hot cloth. My number 3705 ‘Love Story’ maisonette was immaculate, clean, great size, extremely comfortable and modern with its own pool and stunning views. The hotel is like a Greek Village but very private and very beautiful with all the facilities one can dream of. The resort has swimming pools, waterfalls, amazing beaches, sensational views and the loveliest gardens I have seen in Greece for years. The spa is fantastic too, the General Manager of the Spa, George, is brilliant, his therapists have magical hands.

What really makes this place though are the owners, management team and staff. They simply cannot do enough for you. The hotel is owner driven and it shows. The attention to detail, the amazing staff, the exceptional food quality, the beauty of the accommodation and facilities, all indicate the owners are serious about giving guests the very best hotel accommodation and holiday experience. On top of that , the quality of all the materials and furnishings throughout the resort just makes this stand out above the rest.

I found each and every member of staff to be helpful and polite and providing the best service, always willing to please. Little touches like remembering your name and discreetly making sure you are comfortable, they go the extra mile. The food is great quality throughout the resort – the breakfast buffet at the Precieux was outstanding, the ultimate breakfast venue, sitting on the bougainvillea balcony eating their delicious Cretan cuisine was enchanting. They have many superb restaurants for lunch and dinner but my favourites were their laidback ‘Amarando’ restaurant right on the beach with fresh fish and fabulous Summer Boho vibe. I fell in love with their stunning taverna, ‘Sea Salt and Rosemary ‘, it is the taverna of one’s dreams. Definitely a must to try at least once in your life - casual, relaxed but with delicious traditional Greek food. And the views!!!!. With the beach just down a few steps, it is easy to go for a swim just before. I also got to enjoy their Italian ‘Safran’ restaurant on my last night there. Perched high on a cliff overlooking the dazzling sea, it did not disappoint. The most delicious Gnocchi in Greece followed by a dessert so subtle yet flavoursome with wines and limoncello to match, their chef deserves 5 stars for herself it was that sublime. I would definitely recommend dining there.

I can honestly say I was thrilled with this choice of hotel resort and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Yes, there are lots of wonderful places in Greece but for me, ‘Out of the Blue Capsis Elite Resort’ is not only beautiful but has a special healing energy that somehow makes it unique. Everybody that works there goes the extra mile and that is what makes it the best. The owners and managers were sincere, charming and kind. The staff was helpful and really wonderful. The people make the hotel. Excellent facilities, excellent quality and excellent service. Pricing was very fair. I will...

First of all, this hotel is absolutly not worth the five stars. You pay a lot but it’s not worth the money. You can get much better with the same amount of money at another hotel. We do not recommend this hotel at all. When we arrived, they did not give us enough information about the hotel so basically we had to found out everything on our own. This took us away A LOT OF TIME to actually enjoy the vacation.. and if you ask the staff, they show you everything on a map and you still have to figure it out yourself. THE ROOM: in our 8 days that we we’re here, the room was NEVER cleaned. The floor was very dirty with hair, dust, .. they never changed the bedsheets so if we accidently made them dirty they kept it like that and we had to sleep in it. ALSO if you have room at 4000-5000+ you are VERY FAR AWAY FROM EVERYTHING (the lobby, the restaurant, the pools, the beach, the bars,.. just everything) From our room it was a 15min walk, and this everyday in a very hot temperature is just not done + the way is very steep slope, like youre walking on mountains the whole way. So if you don’t have a good condition, I would NOT recommend this hotel. The rooms are very outdated. Every day something else broke: toilet stopped flushing, light flickered in the bathro, showerhead sprayed in all directions,.. AND THEN THE WORSE: because our bungalow was outside, there were A LOT of insects and these came under the door and through the door in our room.. and not just little insects but like lizards 10-15cm in size and insects we’ve NEVER seen before. We could never sleep because of this cause if you are scared of insects then you will face youre fears every single night. THE FOOD: not very much varition, everyday the same food. If you have all-in, they have to come at ur table to ask if you want something to drink but this happend very often, so the all-in is not very all-in. ALL-IN: if you pay all the extra money for all-in, you have to know that at some bars you still have to pay every drink that you can get for free at another bar that’s 20mins away. HOTEL: the animation in the hotel was very poor, it was always in French (why not in English???) THE STAFF: the staff is very friendly, they help you if you ask. The staff in the restaurant is also very friendly. THE POOLS: the seats at the pools was never full, you will always find yourself a seat. But the pools are surrounded by grass, trees and earth which makes the pools dirty and doesn’t invite you to swim in it. BUT STILL, please think two times before you book youre holiday here and look over your other options first.

TIPS FOR THE HOTEL: more road markings that clearly indicate all the places the people who have a room on the 4000/5000+ should get some kind of go-car or bike,.. for the entire road (15-20min walk) to swimming pools, restaurant, beach, lobby,.. treat all-in customers better, they pay a...

We chose this hotel because of its beautiful natural surroundings and great location – which turned out to be the only truly positive aspect of the entire stay. Unfortunately, everything else was a major disappointment.||The hotel advertises itself as a 5-star property, but in reality, it doesn’t meet even a 3-star standard. The photos online are misleading – they look nice but don’t reflect the actual condition of the place. For this reason, we are attaching real photos showing the true state of the hotel.||⸻||🧼 Cleanliness and Room Maintenance:| • Floors were mopped daily, but only superficially – even on the first day, our socks turned black after just 5 minutes.| • Sinks and bathroom fixtures were cleaned only on the surface.| • The toilet seat in our room was broken.| • Shower gel and shampoo were not refilled until we disassembled the dispensers ourselves. We were generally very pleased with our stay at Out of the Blue Resort in Crete. We were kindly upgraded to an en-suite room with a shared private pool and a secluded garden with loungers. The suite was very spacious, beautifully designed, and the housekeeping was excellent. Customer service was good, and it was easy to book à la carte restaurants. The ladies at guest services did their best to assist with reservations, and each restaurant offered a unique design, a balanced menu, and attentive service. The kids’ club facilities were also very impressive. Our 2-year-old loved the kids’ disco, but the volume was often higher than comfortable for children, and staff didn’t adjust it despite parents’ requests. Entertainment, however, felt a bit underdeveloped and was not available every day. On the positive side, the spa is highly recommended, and the resort is a wonderful place to unwind. Yoga lessons were enjoyable, though offered only three times a week and scheduled at 8 am, which unfortunately coincided with breakfast time. The beach is not the strongest point: the public sandy beach is quite narrow and lacks facilities, while the private beach has good facilities and a nice bar/restaurant for lunch but no sand (although the water was very clean). My only real complaint is that hot drinks like coffee and tea were not included at lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant — surprising for an all-inclusive resort. Also, the landscape is quite hilly; although golf cart service is available, it can be hard to get one at busy check-in/check-out times, and waiting can take much longer than the 5–10 minutes promised. Walking is often faster, but those with mobility issues should be prepared for delays. Overall, this is a beautiful resort with excellent service, impressive facilities, and plenty of opportunities to relax, with just a few areas that could be improved.

Our visit was pre-season so most of the resort was closed/empty. We, however enjoyed our peace and quiet in this beautiful "ghost town". About the resort: It was huge! There was a nice path around the peninsula with cliffs, exploding waves, gardens, flowers, lizards and even a private beach on the northern side. All this with maybe 10-20 other guests during the time of our visit was hilairous and awesome. The double room was nice and large. A bit weird combination of modern pixel art with old wooden parquet floor and furniture. The view was gorgeous (look at the pic). The balcony was wide but short (it was difficult to pass a person sitting in the balcony). The balcony was facing south, but it was shadowy. The breakfast was basically the same every morning and it was delicious. From american / british "basic stuff" to some traditional greek specialities. The dinner buffet was different every day and there were lots of varieties. Some of it was good, some of it bad, just a matter of opinion. Being a family friendly place, there were many easier food options like spaghetti, mashed potatoes or similar so you don´t have to starve if you´re allegric to fish or don´t like warm vegetables. The negatives: -Expensive. You pay for the location and the infra. -They tried to rob us from our half-board even though we booked our stay directly from their website. -Paying was a chore everytime. All these papers and receipts you need to sign. -The peace from having a dinner was constantly interrupted by the staff and paperwork -Maybe trying to be a bit too "high-class" for my liking when it clearly is not. -It´s not the hotels fault, but be aware: there are mosquitos that´ll eat you alive during the night. If you don´t let them in, the cleaning ladies probably will.
