Great little beach that has two cafe bars and a nice seafood taverna near it. Besides that, there are 2-3 little shops for water, slippers, towels and other necessities. You can rent two sunbdes and an umbrella (as a package only) with 10 Euros per day and you are given a receipt so you can leave your towel on so you can come back later and return to it without worries. There are portions with clear sand but also with small rocks. There are rocks in the water but you can manage even without water slippers. The water is very clean and beautifully colored, usually very peaceful with no waves so you can go for a swim, a float or try the water sports on offer from the guys nearby. It is in between two hills where there are a few great hotels and it is also accessible by car. It is quite peaceful and there are beautiful views and some nice walks can be done...

We had a great time at this beach. It’s rocky, not sandy but at the time of our visit the sea was warm so we spent most of our time in the water. It is very crowded with wooded sun loungers that you can rent for the day but it wasn’t obvious where you rent them from. On our second visit we needed some shade and ended up buying a parasol from the supermarket. There is a supermarket at either end of the beach, check both out before purchasing to make sure you get the best deal! There are also a few small shops selling beachwear. If you want to go diving visit ‘Stay Wet’. Another place rents boats, SUP and kayaks. There are three restaurants to choose from, all with...

Absolutely love this beach, it’s small and not so many sunbeds but when you get one they are comfortable and reasonably cheap we paid €10 for two beds and an umbrella. The beach it’s narrow enough and once in the water the floor of the sea is solid rock which can be a little slippery, but once you know that and act accordingly it’s a joy.. once by the rock bed the floor falls away and you enter deep water, deep beautifully clear and super buoyant water.. it’s such a great place to enjoy a swim, especially very early in the morning. I swam here two ironing just after sunrise and it was one of the great highlights of my stay in Crete. ...
