This property is definitely different with its hand panted murals on the walls and even in the shower. |However comfortable it is not, bed was like sleeping on stone with very thin mattress.|Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss one day yes another nothing.|However it was clean a had a decent size rooms the bathroom had all the amenities but the shower had no curtain and it was a hand shower you washed with. It did however have good hot water and was powerful. All this did turn the bathroom into a wet room each time it was used.|It is a old building so sound proofing can be a issue you basically hear everyone entering or leaving the building and them moving around in there rooms there is also a childrens playground directly outside which is used till after dark.|Positive is you do get a friendly welcome and price wise it was very reasonable in...

Well this property is certainly different if not quirky with its hand painted murals on all the walls and even in the shower. Its situated a 10 minute walk up hill from the port. The room was a decent size as was the bathroom and it was certainly clean enough. However if noise is a issue then with this being a old stone building you do hear everyone entering or leaving the property as well as moving around there rooms there is also a childrens Playground directly outside which is used until late at night. If you are looking for a cheap and quirky stay Mary’s Rooms is ideal, if you’re looking for luxury, look elsewhere! We enjoyed our stay here, it’s a 10-15 minute uphill walk from the port where you will find plenty of places to eat and drink and about 15 minutes walk from a nice little beach.Mary and her husband speak very limited English, but were always very polite.
