Filoxenia Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

Arrived a day later than initially planned due to several changes of ferry schedules prior to leaving the UK.||Met at the port as requested but reality it is only a 10 minutes walk even with luggage. Room was very modern with almost everything including bed bases built of concrete. Even the shower was built in rather than being the usual open construction in Greece. Must also compliment on constant hot water if ran it for a few minutes. ||If I had to mention a few minor things: |Balcony is almost Jullien and isn't big enough for the 2 chairs and table provided never mind the 3 people you could potentially get in the room (it was a double & single). |Batteries not in TV remote so couldn't check if it worked.|Perhaps some proper mugs for making a brew rather than tiny Greek cups. |I am being extremely picky here in how to improve the overall experience. ||Being early season I think I was the only guest in for at least 2 of my 3 night stay. Not sure the owner got the whole female travelling alone bit. I also hope I didn't offend by refusing his offer of a boat trip around the island. ||I would however definitely stay here again on returning to Milos. Excellent standard for...

Greek person at her best! The host helped us regarding if we were her guests to begin with or not , we arrived in Milos at 1:40 am in the morning to check in to our hotel only to find out that our apartment was double booked! She helped us by phoning around other hotels to find us accomodation as her hotel was already booked full for the evening, when she could not find us any place to sleep she took it upon herself and made us beds in her hotels reception and said we will sort out our sleeping arrangements in the morning. When morning came she made a plan and opened up a room for us. We can not express this more! She is an amazing person and we would reccomend her and the hotel 100 times over and over again! Our guest or the place? From what we have to begin? ||The structure was fine from outside to inside, cutes in minimal details included the small melograno tree near the door. Ok the room, it was a studio, nice with all facilities, the kitchen with the first things was a very kind welcome (they give us water, salt, sugar, new sponge and soap!) bathroom and the beds are everyday well cleaned, they smell as home, they give us hand soap and bodysoap (cookie taste!) ||The guest were so so so kind and Helpful! ||The hotel its on the back side of the Main Street of Adam, you can walk to go out and reach the centre, it’s far 1 minute by walk ||If we went back in Milos we surely stay there again!||(At the begin of that road there’s nice and...
