We spent the week in Mykonos, choosing Asimina, and it was no doubt the best option we could choose. Starting with the room, which was a 10/10. It was spotless, extra clean and well equipped with all the facilities we needed including, soaps, shampoos, water, hair dryer, blankets and clean towels everyday. The views were incredible, just breathtaking. I would recommend this place to everyone that wants to runaway from the city to be in a paradise. But the best part was surely meeting our host, Katerina. From the second we stepped in, she welcomed us with the biggest smile and helped us from the first day to the last one, helping us renting a motorbike, recommending us the best places of the island and giving us the best advices to eat, dance and enjoy the place at its maximum! Katerina, thank you for all the good conversations and your perfect hospitality! We will be back to asimina and recommend it to all our friends just for you! You made our experience a 10/10! Thank you for...
Read moreFrom the off we were made to feel so welcome as we were met at the port by Yiannis's father and driven the short distance from the New Port to our room. It is a 5 minute walk but with our heavy luggage we hugely appreciated this thoughtful (and free) service. The room was so beautifully decorated with a filter coffee maker, television, fridge and a balcony with an amazing sea view. Everyday our fridge was replenished with water, jam and crackers and there were mugs and plates to enable us to make ourselves a snack or breakfast. Although it is 1km from the town there is a frequent bus that goes from right outside the property and runs until 2am and there is a good mini market and hotel with a pool 200m from Asimina so everything you need is nearby and it feels so well connected. Yiannis was extremely helpful and accommodating - information, wine glasses and a hair dryer were provided on request. The wifi was better here than most places on the Greek Islands! Home comforts at...
Read moreWe stayed in Asimina for 4 nights. It is a small complex with a lovely view of the new port. The hotel staff were very friendly and informative and could not do enough for us! The rooms were a decent size and were cleaned every day. The location is about a 20 minute walk to Mykonos but on a very busy and dangerous road. There is a bus stop right beside the hotel that brings you into Mykonos in 5 minutes or to the beach in 5 minutes in the opposite direction. The bus costs €1.60 and goes every 30 minutes or so. If you are hoping to enjoy the party scene of paradise beach I would not stay here, it's 2 buses away and taxis in Mykonos are few and far between... And like everything else in Mykonos they are quite expensive. Asimina is a lovely place if you're looking to enjoy the charm of...
