I booked the hotel via Expedia. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Just 5minutes from the New port which makes it very convenient. Also, the old town and port are just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We were incredibly happy with the hotel and its staff. The breakfast has a wide spread (but if you stay here for more than a couple of days, you will get bored). The breakfast is the same on all days. On the whoel the breakfast was decent. The wifi is really bad - incredibly slow in the rooms and mediocre at best in the main lounge cum breakfast area. So if you have plans on doing research about the place or make plans for the day or simply upload a picture, be sure to walk to the lounge and do not expect anything in the room. There was one thing i did not like during check in - I had initially booked 2 rooms via expedia and cancelled one. Expedia had got in touch with the hotel and they had agreed via mail to refund only 50% for the second room (our friends could not join us). On reaching the hotel, we were told that they had not received the other 50% from Expedia and we were to pay the remaining amount and only then could we check in. After nearly an hour of calling Expedia, they allowed us to check in. The receptionist Toula took us to a garden view room when we in fact had booked a sea view room. She took us to the balcony and said you can see the sea from here. She also said she had upgraded us. I was surprised as the rooms I had booked had a much better view. So i scrolled through my reservation and found that it was indeed a sea view room. She then took us to our actual room from where the views were fabulous. Except for the bad check in experience and the fact that i was going to get ripped off, the hotel on the whole was worth...

My husband and I just stayed at Olia for 4 nights in Mykonos, and can’t say enough about how great our stay was. We had booked the hotel last year and had to cancel due to a medical emergency. While the hotel had a no refunds policy, they offered to hold our payment into this year as we hoped we could reschedule our trip. Thank goodness they did, because we were so happy to finally make it there! The front desk had all the info and correspondence saved and ready for us, and they all seemed to know that we had come after a difficult time so they really made our arrival welcoming. Every time we walked by the front desk or had breakfast in the morning, everyone was super friendly and remembered our names despite the high turnover of guests coming through each day. We were super grateful to have a beautiful pool to cool off in each day because the Mykonos sun catches up to you, despite the windy conditions. There’s a couple little stores next door as well as a delicious fast food place for gyros and tasty bites. The room was cute and the patio was awesome. The only thing I would say (and it’s more of a me-problem than anything) is that the room had quite a few bugs in it, and a large gap under the door which is probably where they got in. Everything was very clean though, and as long as we wore bug spray the patio was another great option for cooling off in the evening. Also, it was super easy to get to both the bus and the Seabus as they are basically across the street, which was a huge benefit. There is also a small but beautiful beach right across the street and people were swimming down there each day. Such a great...

We stayed her for 2 weeks which I would say is quite unusual, lots of travellers or so it seems use it as a passing through stay, as it is situated near the new port where the ferry come in.|Our stay was the end of June beginning of July so not a lot of children (great for us) we stayed in room 22, 50 steps from the bar/restaurant area.|When we arrived George greeted us with a warm welcome giving us a map and telling us how to get about and some of the local historic things to see. He was helpful all through our stay the whole staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.|Our room had a lovely view of the port and a bit of a sunset view too. The cleaners kept it spotless also fresh linen and towels regularly. There was no charge for the air conditioning and safe which we thought was great, complimentary toiletries were very nice, having known this I would have not taken any. The wardrobe space was a little awkward if you have long dresses it was a problem, hair dryer could be a little nearer the mirror, but was very good.||Pool area has towels you can use on a daily basis with no charge or deposit, if you were heading out to the beach or going on a trip they give you towels from Reception still no charge or deposit.||Restaurant has a limited menu, could do with maybe a bit more of a snack / lunch choice but the food was fresh, presented well and was of good quality.||Breakfast was very similar every day but breakfast is breakfast, lovely dinning room and 2 terraces overlooking the new port. You can help yourself to as much as you want.||I would recommend this hotel for a short or long stay...

Last month we had the pleasure of staying at the Olia Hotel in Mykonos. This hotel is a hidden gem placed on the Mykonos Port hillside, with Greece’s signature whitewashed architecture. Our room was spectacular, and had a small balcony that overlooked the Aegean Sea. When we arrived in Milos, our son had left his dinosaur stuffed animal at the Olia hotel. The staff at the hotel was fantastic! Quickly answering our emails confirming they had the dinosaur. The Olia staff asked where we were traveling next and they had a courier deliver our dinosaur to our hotel in Athens at no charge to us. They made our little boy happy knowing his stuffed animal was going to meet us in Athens. They treated us like gold while we were there and even after we have left. This hotel and staff is truly remarkable and is a must stay on our next visit. Special thanks to the Olia hotel and staff for being so kind and attentive, their special care really made a difference. We picked the Hotel for the convenience of being close to the port, but was overly impressed by the cleanliness, beautiful location and kindness by everyone! They went above and beyond in making our stay wonderful! And for caring for our little boy was priceless! They didn’t have to send the dinosaur to our next location, but they did…. That extra care shows you what a special place the Olia is all about! Sincerely thank you! Everywhere we went in Greece was friendly and kind, and the Olia went above and beyond! Efcharistó,

What a wonderful place! At check in, Angeliki (Angela) was so kind, warm and welcoming. As a solo, young, female backpacker - showing up to hotels can get some interesting reactions. I normally don’t stay at hotels, but since hostels are hard to come by in Mykonos/Santorini & it’s my birthday in a few days, I decided to treat myself. 😉 Nevertheless, she was so kind and gave some tips and lovely conversation. The rooms were lovely! Good shower, comfy beds/pillows, mini fridge, safe, good wifi, super nice pool with an ocean view, place to get food literally attached to the building. Breakfast was quite delicious too! Beverages: Coffee (in many forms), tea, juice, water, milk. Vanilla and chocolate cake (I though they were dry), milk pie, whole wheat, white, and brioche (yum!) breads. Marmalades/butter/honey. This tahini/nut spread, a jam of sort. Yogurt. Boiled eggs, meats, cheese. Spinach pie. One thing I would say is missing: fruits! Check out was also lovely - there was a man there (didn’t catch his name!) but he was super kind as well. He let me keep my backpack there while I hiked to the lighthouse and back (~2 hrs, but a lovely hike/walk!!). We also had a lovely conversation before I finally left for good. Would definitely stay here again! Honestly, better than the “5 star” hotel I stayed in on the island.
