Ikaros Studios & Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

For our 9 nights on Naxos, We chose Ikaros Studios & apartments and we are so glad we did! What a fabulous place to spend a holiday. The accommodation is immaculate, the cleaning regime is constant, the pool and gardens pristine but best of all our hosts Nikos and Kali (I hope I've spelled this correctly) are the best. They are obviously very proud of what they have built here and rightly so, a fantastic experience from being collected at the port to being dropped off again 10 days later.

It's just away from the beach at St George, maybe 10 minutes walk maximum. It's less to a supermarket, cafe(very good with huge portions) bakery, grill and open air cinema but about 20 minutes to the centre of Naxos Town with and abundance of restaurants, shops and vehicle hire places. We enjoyed the walk, but appreciate that it's not everyone's cup of tea after eating and / or drinking!

They had great advice for where to eat, which places to visit, best things to see on the island, they felt like friends and not our hosts by the end of our stay. All the reviews you read aren't fake, they deserve every trip advisor or Google point they get, but I think the 9.9 on booking.com is shy of another 0.1 - it's a class place.

Aircon, fridge, mini freezer, dining table, hob, cutlery, plates, very comfy bed, fruit on arrival, hot tub - A proper shower cubicle with hot water always, not the norm in Greece! We felt very lucky to stay here, I hope others who read this do too!

Thank you Nikos & Kalli for the wonderful stay. You make the Ikaros Studios & Apartments a special place. |The room, as well as the lobby and pool area, were absolutely spotless. The room was a nice size, we had more than enough space, and the beds were comfortable, especially the pillows. We felt very comfortable and safe staying there, including the very spacious pool area. |Nikos picked us up from the ferry, even after the company put us on a different ferry causing a large delay. He also drove us to the small Naxos airport, which is very handy at being only 5 min away. And they helped us rent a car for the day, which was conveniently dropped off and picked up right from the apartments. We drove to Chalkio & Filoti for the day and I suggest others do so as well because they are beautiful little towns.|We found the location to be excellent. It's a very close 5-minute walk to the Naxos beach and only 5-10 minutes further before you hit the town. The lovely Kalli will give you some suggestions regarding places to explore and eat, which was helpful. Agios Prokopios Beach is also a short bus ride away. In fact, it's technically walkable to get to. My wife and I did it by following the shoreline before cutting in via the road, but we love to walk long distances and don't necessarily advise others to do so. My friend Jodie and I had a fabulous time stay at Ikaros Studios & Apartments from the moment we got in the cab, picked up by Nikos to the moment we left. Nikos & Kalli have putting in so much care and love into there apartments, it’s the perfect home away from home. We were greeted with fresh lemon and Kalli told us everything about the island, the best beaches, bus routes and recommended restaurants. We used their private hot tub three times. Nikos organised a trip around the island for us. Exploring all its hidden gems. Kalli left cake and other treats in our room. The room was perfect, we used the kigtchete to make breakfast and dinner. The hotel is located 4mins from a big supermarket. 8mins from a beautiful beach with a great beach bar. A 10/15min walk into the main town. There are local buses to go to other beaches on the island. The hotel also has a wonderful swimming pool which is surrounded by stunning flowers. So much love and care that has gone into this hotel/apartment, Nikos & Kalli made out experience 100% times better. I couldn’t recommend this place more.
