This place was a combination of all aspects of a restaurant put together to create an incredible experience. We visited in the end of August 2025. They have a great team which works together and is impeccable. Sophia was our waiter and she did a tremendous job in suggesting many dishes for us, she had great knowledge of the menu, and was able t give great suggestions, plus I have to mention she is an incredible seller and convinced me to order more than I intentionally planned to which is a very well done job, what a true waiter should be, without making me regret what I ordered. The back-waiter Angelo was very pleasant and gave us suggestions of what to do around Naxos since it was our first time at the island. He was very personable while opening the wine which Sophia had recommended and went perfect with our dishes. I had the Rosto which is a traditional dish of Naxos and was phenomenal, also one of Sophia's suggestions. My wife had the lamb chops which were also great. What captivated me to come in to the restaurant with much enthusiasm was another back-waiter who's name I believe was Amel, he was very knowledgeable of what the restaurant served and presented many dishes to me as well, especially the Greek salad which can come with very soft kind of Feta cheese which I do not remember the name but made the salad even better than if it came the traditional way in my opinion. At the end of our experience a gentleman named Manoli came to give us our check and was also very pleasant in conversation and told us that he works there and knows the family which owns the restaurant very well and if I can remember correctly brought us desert on the house. Sophia also noticed that we did not like the fava meze which we had ordered since we were not eating it and was paying good attention to the table, she asked us if we did not like it and took it off the bill which I found to be extremely thoughtful and professional on her behalf. We ended up leaving a 20% tip since the experience was so phenomenal, which is not usual in Europe/Greece. This is one of, if not the best Greek restaurant that I have been in, or the best experience that I had in a Greek restaurant by far. Also would like to thank the owner who met us at the door of the restaurant and put us on a waiting list and gave us a very good table with great view of the rest of the place just like my wife and I like. Last but not least, I also think the price was very reasonable. A special thanks to the whole To...

My first evening in Naxos, my partner found and introduced this restaurant is the best in Naxos Island. We didn’t reserve a table but a host manager kindly gave us the time we have to come back to the restaurant and recommended walking around a beautiful beach nearby. I was amazed by sunset view from this island with walking through the beach, and getting excited to try local’s best restaurant.

Despite of my excitement, my overall experience with this restaurant is the most horrible particularly with a service. It all started from one waiter put a wrong order (which I ordered grilled squid with a salad and they served octopus pasta) and I had to ask two different waiters “I never ordered this dish”. Firstly, when the wrong food’s been served, I said I ordered the squid dish and he said that this dish is the squid dish and tried to fool me. Then the other waiter who initially put through the order came to me that they served the right dish but he said he can serve another dish “I insist to order”. He was basically blaming me that we ask the waiter to bring the dish we never ordered. After all of this, the dish came out roughly 50mins after and my partner already finished his meal by then. Still there’s no apology when a correct dish was served.

The worst thing is the waiter who was in charge of our table never apologised, plus no physical bill that we can check what’s been charged

All the dishes&drinks I had were great and agreed with all the reputations/good reviews about the restaurant. And also the host manager was doing great service for all. I could’ve been complaining even further during the moment but just felt very helpless when the waiter blamed the issue to me. I hope this review helps...

I don’t usually review places right after visiting them - maybe many months pass after I get a reminder do I write a review, but today’s visit To Elliniko merits an immediate shout out, and sharing with the world what a worthy visit this was. They had the best food we’ve had in Greece so far (including having been taken out to eat by Greek friends in Athens), they had the most generous portions, and above all they had a superb family friendly atmosphere and vibe that just made you jive with the place. We’ve been meaning to come here all week (we’re staying a bit far) but made it today with our 6 month old baby, a little weary about potential rain… the staff were attentive, they kept giving kind smiles to our baby, and the owner even offered to carry him for 10 mins while we ate (he was a bit fussy got his first tooth yesterday)… we’ve experienced first hand how much Greeks dote over babies here, it this was above and beyond 5 star service. The atmosphere is unpretentious yet refined, the taste is five stars yet the portions are very very generous, especially given that the prices are quite fair - we had the moussaka, which is easy to mess up, and this was easily the best I’ve ever tasted! My husband who finds lamb gamey, said he’d eat lamb every day if it tasted like the grilled lamb chops we ordered. We still had leftovers to bring home. Do yourselves a favor and run, don’t walk to this beautiful, family-owned restaurant if you’re lucky to be in Naxos. The many reviews don’t lie. Gracias por una linda...

After a lot of research on the internet, I came across this restaurant and spontaneously went here for dinner. The first impression from the outside was already a positive one and seemed very inviting. We were also received in a friendly manner at the entrance and assigned to a table of our choice. The waitress came immediately and brought us the menus and already asked if she could bring something to drink in advance. The menu itself is very clear and there is something for everyone, whether vegetarian, fish or meat. We ordered a bit of everything from the menu and tried to focus on the Greek house specialities. The portions were immense, so caution is advised when ordering. The waitress already said that it might be too much, but we stuck with the order. The food came quickly and everything from the starters to the main course was delicious. We ordered a dessert to share and Greek coffee to go with it. It was the perfect way to round off the evening. The ambience of the restaurant is modern but still in the typical style of the island. Especially the big olive tree in the middle looked simply elegant and majestic. The staff was always friendly and attentive. Ambience 5 stars Service 5 stars Price-performance/quality 5 stars

my favorite restaurant of our trip. the first time we came we ordered the fried feta with honey and sesame seeds and the grilled squid. everything was truly delicious. we finished the meal with a piece of the portakalopita (orange pie) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. delicious beyond words and a must-order. they gave us complimentary house-made geranium liqueur to finish, which was also super good. our first meal was so incredible that we decided to come back and have a larger meal, as we weren't very hungry the first time and wanted to try some of the other dishes. this time, we ordered the saganaki, octopus in vinegar, fava bean dip, and veal kalogeros. this meal was even more incredible than the first. the octopus was so incredibly tender, and even though I'm not usually an octopus person, it was actually one of the highlights of the trip for me, and I kept going in for bite after savory bite. the kalogeros was also just so incredibly flavorful and delicious. they gave us two pieces of complimentary orange pie for dessert, as well as the house-made geranium liqueur. dont have enough words to describe how lovely this restaurant is! had such a special and unforgettable time here.
