We were on Naxos for roughly a month and I'm not exaggerating when I say Trata had the absolute BEST fries on the Island! We ate fries almost everywhere we went in Naxos Town and never found any even half as good as they are at Trata. There are also a few vegan options!

We came here at least 5 times, probably more, I completely lost count.

The owner is one of the best people we met here on Naxos. Super hospitable and very friendly. He provided awesome service every time we came in. He also has the absolute most genuine laugh I've ever heard in my life!

The island gets a little boring this time of the month (end of October) as most restaurants are closing for the season and the sea is a little too nippy to swim, but we were never bored at Trata!

A very chic beach bar with a wonderful atmosphere! A truly special place right by the sea. From the moment you arrive you feel welcome – the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Such warm and caring service is rare, and you can feel the passion in what they do.

The Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had – fresh, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp saganaki was another absolute highlight: full of flavor, creamy, and with just the right amount of spice. Despite the strong wind, we felt very comfortable in the cozy lounge chairs and enjoyed the stunning sea view.

Overall, it’s the perfect combination of atmosphere, service, and great food – a place to relax and enjoy. We will definitely come...

Loved this bar and sunbed block. Other places on the beach wouldn't let me rent a single sunbed unless I stayed on the back row, but the owner here said it was fine and to go wherever I wanted. I appreciated this more than I could say as it's not easy being a solo traveller and so often having to pay twice for everything. It was early June, though, so not sure how it would be on peak.

Mostly just used a towel on the beach and ate in the restaurant, with all food being delicious, but I wanted one day of luxury and sat there with food and a strawberry daiquiri. Flawless. Safe. Delicious. I'll be straight back just as soon as I have the income again!!
